They are soft and easy to chew

I like chewy dates but these are so dry and hard they are almost inedible. I resorted to soaking them but then they were tasteless and still had an unpleasant skin which felt like plastic in the mouth. Unpleasant.

Very good quality natural dried prunes that are tasting delicious.Note: if you haven't tried naturally dried prunes before ( not the soft prunes containing prezervative) you may find it harder to bite into it.

Superb product. I dislike soft prunes but these are perfect. I gave 5 stars because they can be made soft by simply soaking in warm water to suit personal choice. I like them al dente, a bit of a bite to them. You can't alter mushy soft ones, which are more expensive as the liquid in them makes them weigh far more.These are organic too, and no nasty additives. As I said, superb. Don't go putting the price up though!

For some time, I have been buying dried prunes produced in Bulgaria because they have the best taste. But this last time I find them to be too dried, hard to chew with barely any taste. Then I verified that this my last purchased was from a different company from what I usually buy. I guess not all prunes produce in Bulgaria are good.

There are two Bolo suppliers of Bulgarian organic prunes and with one out of stock we had to switch to the other! These are identical and frankly superb - there is no other available online the same. They need very gentle simmering until soft enough for taste. For helping the tummy along - first class! If you need more help, Sunsweet Prune Juice (cheapest currently from H&B) is second to nothing. If more help is needed, then call in the troops in the form of Andrew’s Liver Salts or Milk of Magnesia (laxative dosages)! 😳😉

I bought the wrong product as it’s in a look alike packet. These are like chewing old dried leather. I tried to rehydrate by soaking in hot water but still tough & lacked flavour.

Einweichen kann ich die Pflaumen selbst, in Wasser, Gewürztee zum Beispiel oder in Jasmintee.Hier gefällt mir alles, Qualität, Verpackung und Lieferung.Kaufe ich garantiert wieder.4 Wochen später:Habe ich gerade wieder gekauft. Die Ware ist wie beschrieben und kam am nächsten Tag, leider war die Verpackung offen. Trotzdem bleibt es bei allen möglichen Sternen.
