Aesthetic reissue with Gore-Tex® Extended Comfort membrane of the famous Ultra Raptor model, a trail running shoe developed for long-distance off-road tours and extended training sessions even in the winter months. The Gore-Tex® membrane lining allows perspiration but does not let water in, making it ideal for running in winter. The rear stabilizer heel allows perfect control on the crossings. The lacing system is integrated in the upper part through loops sewn into the inner elastic fabric and with high frequency reinforcements in the outer mesh: this system distributes the tension of the laces throughout the upper part and wraps the foot in the best possible way for perfect comfort. Ultra Raptor II GTX® is also available in a wide-fit comfort version dedicated to hikers with a wide foot. Le uso per escursioni in montagna e sono ottime: poco affaticamento del piede, che rkmane lubero di muoversi.Non sono addatte a sprofondare su ghiaionez dato che si rovinano le cuciture laterali.Leggere in proporzione alla dimensione e robuste.Buona tenuta dell'impermeabilità e traspiranti.

Not confortable
Read several reviews before buying this model. I was looking for light shoes with good traction and enough comfort for hiking in trails of 20km to 25km with good elevation. The traction is good (the rubber is very, very soft to grab the rocks, don't expect durable shoes) , but after walking (not running) with a medium backpack, I felt my feets very tired and I'm used to hiking in mountains with heavy backpacks on hard trails. Two days after using these shoes I still feel the bottom of my feets. Don't remember to feel this with any other brands (already used Merrel, Asolo, Salomon, Scarpa and Saleva). I'm preparing for GR20 in Corsica and while this could be a good shoe to climb rocks, they are not confortale to your feets. An expensive and disappointing waste of money with this expensive shoes. Don't commit the same mistake with this La Sportiva model if you are looking for shoes that won't hurt your feets in longer trails. Bad choice, definitely I won't take them with me to GR20
