Phenomenal. I bought this for my iPad 7th gen to use mainly for my artwork and it works 10x better than expected considering it’s not even an Apple Pencil. You just turn the pen on out of the box and it works straight away, don’t need to link it to Bluetooth or anything. It’s extremely accurate and precise to write and draw with. No lagging or losing connection or anything. It has a handy battery indicator so you know when it needs charging. It’s extremely good value for money. I would recommend this to anyone.

A great pencil that works really well with my iPad A16 and at a really great price.However, the magnet to store the pencil was not connecting correctly and the pencil was sitting at an odd angle. When straightening the pencil - to sit in my iPad case which has a pencil storage slot - the connection weakened resulting in the pencil falling out.I contacted customer services and Rosie was great and sent a replacement pencil out to me very quickly.The second pencil was much better, it attached well and sat straight along side the iPad. But when using the iPad case, the alignment of the pencil to its storage area wasn’t quite right, so although it fitted the magnetic connection wasn’t as strong and the pencil can easily loosen and fall out.Despite this, overall this is a great item which I’m very please I purchased, at such a great price and is working really well with my iPad.This company has really great customer service and I would not hesitate to recommend them.5 Stars!

Works great with ipad 2025, pairs automatically, writes well and navigates pages easily. Charging is easy and the battery lasts a decent amount of time. Feels comfortable in the hand.

The pen works excellently with my iPad Mini. Easy to find the correct model pen. It charges quickly and seems to last a while. So much cheaper than the official APPLE version. The Pen comes with good use instructions and a charger cable. The charge lap top access point is a small USB type plug NOT via a domestic charge USB point. Most lap tops will have this facility. In addition the Pen is able to attach itself via a magnet to the iPad. It also comes with Two( additional spare tips. A great buy !

For the cost this is very good value for money. Only docking one star due to no wireless charging. It feels exactly the same as the Apple Pencil, I just give a 2nd gen Apple Pencil away ( to a friends young daughter) and replaced it with this. This is every bit as good as the Apple pencil. I am still getting used to the double tap on the top to switch it on, but that’s a very small thing. Almost perfect.

The best stylus pencil I have bought for my iPad

Actually blown away by this. I have almost no complaints since I started using this. I had originally purchased a different brand of stylus pencil for my iPad back in July when I got it. I recently had to buy a new one because the other one got water damaged. It was frustrating because I just had bought replacement tips for it. It was the best thing that could’ve happened. This particular stylus that I am reviewing is so much better. My husband actually found it looking through reviews on different products and I decided to take my chance on it because of the good reviews and I am so glad I did! This pencil is so much lighter than the one I was originally using. This one has more of a plastic lightweight feel but weighted enough that it’s comfortable in your hand but so much lighter than the other one. It is slightly bigger in circumference but again it is still much lighter. The tips do not fully connect to the pencil when you twist it so there’s this tiny visible gap. The gap is not affecting anything, but it’s the way you can differentiate this particular pencil from a real Apple Pencil. That doesn’t matter to me in the slightest, but I am just noting it so you do not think it is broken! Just sits like that once you feel it is secure, it is, it just has that tiny gap. The other unbelievably exceptional aspect of this pencil is it on and off method. I so far I’m not able to get the Bluetooth to connect to the complementary app it comes with, but it’s on and off feature make up for that. My previous stylus pencil took holding down and for lengthy periods of time in order to turn it on. There was no way to shut it off on my own either I had to wait for it too, and I would find it would constantly drain the battery and need to be charged. This is not optimal when I’m only using one charger for both pieces. This particular stylist pencil has a tap twice on tap twice off method and it is immediate. This is phenomenal! This is my favourite aspect of the pencil next to its lightweight feel. The other thing I really like about this pencil is it grips that is another highlight to me. It is a lot more grippy than the previous one maybe it has to do with the material it’s made out of? So much more efficient and easier to play my games and do absolutely everything with. I will not buy another pencil brand after this, this is one of the best purchases I have made on Bolo.

Metapen has blown away the Apple Pencil

I do not have a bad word to say about this pen. I used an Apple Pencil for about two years before switching to Metapen instead because Apple Pencil broke and the transition was absolutely seamless, if not better.First off, connecting the Metapen is a breeze. All you have to do is double tap the top of the pen and it's immediately turned on. With the Apple Pencil, I usually had to plug it into my iPad before it would even be connected. Metapen connects much easier than Apple Pencil.As for quality of writing and drawing, there is not a clear winner, but multiple pros and cons. Apple Pencil adjusts better to tilting the pen, so if you're writing on the side of the pen to increase line size (I mostly use the pencil for art), Apple is more sensitive to slant. Metapen, however, certainly reacts better to pressure. Apple can be wildly inconsistent with line size and pressure, whereas Metapen is more consistent with line size. Overall, there is not a difference in the writing and drawing functionality, and Metapen does the same things as Apple Pencil for much less money.As for durability, that is no contest- Metapen wins. My Apple Pencil was literally shattered by the time I had to stop using it- it had electrical tape on it and Silly Putty holding the tip on. It broke way too often. I dropped it once and the cap on the charger was immediately fractured. The Metapen does not break, however. It has been trapped under books, bags, water bottles, you name it, and it's still kicking just fine. Metapen is much more durable than Apple Pencil, if only for the fact that I don't have to watch it like a newborn the way I did with my Apple Pencil.As for charging and battery life, Metapen has its pros and cons. Battery life of the pencil is about as long as the Apple Pencil's, if not a bit shorter. I could often get a week or so out of my Apple Pencil, where I get 4-5 days from the Metapen. That said, with the amount you're paying for the Metapen as opposed to what you pay for an Apple Pencil, there's an obvious choice. I spend a lot of time with my pencil writing and drawing as well, so I probably use the pencil more than the average user. Additionally, the Metapen recharges faster than the Apple Pencil, and you don't have to stop using your whole device for it to recharge. You can just plug it into a cord instead of inserting the pencil into the device like you're broadcasting to outer space.It is also easy to see how much battery you have with the Metapen. With the Apple Pencil you can see the exact percentage, but the Metapen has a small light that changes color depending on how much battery your pencil has left. I have found this feature to be quite helpful.The overall pick? Easily Metapen. I have not noticed any cons that I'd trade for an Apple Pencil for, and the value was much more worth it. Don't blow your money on a fancy stylus from Apple, give your $14 to Metapen and move on. The Metapen is just as effective and even more functional.
