Bought a Naroote mini die cut machine from Bolo and thought I'd buy a set of spare plates for it at the same time. This set of plates has an A and a B plate which are different thicknesses. Just using the plates didn't work in my mini machine, however, adding a piece of cardstock as a shim solved the issue and I got good clean cuts. Just a tad baffled why the plates are not the same thickness but I found a way to use the plates so I'm happy!

It arrived yesterday and my wife tried to use it last night. Now she has been using various die cutting and embossing machines, both manual and electrical, for years. She couldn't get this to work. The "Instruction Manual" was a useless translation from Chinese to what was supposed to be English. Now I can get by speaking Spanish and can usually figure out the meaning of some words from the context but this was hopeless having seemingly random words strung together. So I am returning it.

The first time I tried with just paper and a die I felt that the plates were really tight going through the rollers. The next time with thin card was difficult and when I tired with thicker card or foam it just wouldn't fit. Also, the instructions for embossing say to use 2 x B plates which are thicker than A so no chance of them fitting, and there is only one A plate and one B plate so another B plate needs to be bought if you want to do embossing. Fortunately Bolos return process is great so I sent it back.

Sehr gute Hilfe beim Stanzen. Ich lege die Platte dazwischen wenn ich mal wieder Platten tauschen muss weil es nicht richtig durch rollt. Die Platte ist sehr dünn und trotzdem stabil.

Parfaite pour le petits découpage, tiens bien à la table avec ses 4 ventouses, par contre elle est pour gaucher, mais sinon au top
