I used a Ghd hairdryer and I fancied an upgrade because my hair going through and dry and frizzy phase. I saw the reviews on this and I liked too that the handled folded for travel. I have an anniversary trip coming up and I want to look my best.I have thick wavy hair so the diffuser option was good, I never got round to buying a diffuser for my GHDs so I thought with my hair growing longer this is a good time to get one.My hair takes a while to dry and is usually frizzy and I can feel its not nice and smooth. I wanted a lighter hairdryer too since the time it takes it can be a bit sore on my shoulder.So quite a tall order for a hairdryer to fix all this. Anyway first of all it's a bit lighter than the GHD. I timed my drying and it took just 6 minutes. I could still be drying my roots after 8 minutes with the GHD. It's bit quieter too which is good when I dry my hair before bed and my partner doesn't moan it's loud.My hair is definitely more shiny. I can feel its smoother and less traction when I brush. I've not used the diffuse yet but I can't imagine it won't work properly. I can see the light reflection better on my hair. I'm a red head so this is always a nice bonus as my hair looks much healthier.Overall I'm very pleased. My GHD lasted for years so as long as I get the same length out time out of this I will be really happy.

Yes it was expensive, but it's worth spending the extra. It looks big, but the handle folds down, and it's light so your hand/wrist doesn't end up aching. The settings are easy to use and are all useful. The hot setting is hot, but not uncomfortably so unlike my previous purchase, which I returned. This is the best dryer I've ever had. I have a Panasonic (Technics) cd player which I have had over 30 years and is still perfect. Am very pleased.

Hairdryer is great with lots of settings including speed and heat. Only downside is that the diffuser attachment doesn't secure properly and often falls off. Although, the other nozzle attachment does secure correctly.

This dries my very long hair in under 30 minutes I also don't need to use any products it leaves my hair really shiny and manageable. It's also light compared to other powerful dryers and has a non slip finish. I'm glad I spent the money on it.

Not heavy which was a priority for me - lots of different settings although I do just end up using either the hot setting (which apparently can adjust to ambient temperature but I’ll have to wait for the summer to see if that works) or the alternating hot/cold setting which helps to set the style. There’s a single button on the side of the hairdryer to cycle through the different settings. Totally recommend.

Was expecting quality from a brand like Panasonic! Decided to upgrade from a very basic travel hair dryer and selected this one.It's not too heavy, nice to hold in your hand, great selection of different drying options e.g. skin, various speeds/temperatureHowever I tried fitting a diffuser attachment, took me ages to finally attach it to the hair dryer - a lot of effort and force. Later on I couldn't take it off! The other attachment wouldn't fit at all. At £160 I would expect everything to be at a very hight standard - RETURNED
