My service provider Wi-Fi boxes and extenders were just so unreliable I had to do something! So I talked to my Son who works in networking provision for business. He suggested these units if I wanted it as good as say a Costa shop Wi-Fi. I put these in and it was simple and super fast to setup, most of the effort was done automatically and each unit you add takes its setup from a working unit automatically. I was super impressed with how easy and fast it was up and running. The Wi-Fi speeds are lightning fast all over the house and in the garage. These units are super configurable with one of the easiest configuration systems I have ever used. Now it has to be said I disabled the Service Providers Wi-Fi service so only use this AP25 one upstairs and one downstairs both PoE. I also fitted a less capable AP22 in the garage for the systems in there and for phones/car as required. The only drawback is my Service Providers box still does the DHCP and this can get confused and need to be reset from time to time. However I hardly even think about the Wi-Fi now as it just works whereas it was almost a daily task before to keep it running. Its also great when we get visitors or my family come to stay with multiple phones and devices connected using the MIMO just works no slowdown.
Good performance with high coverage
The Device is easy to install, wide coverage and suitable for indoor. Even with full time AC coverage, device showing much heat while we touch on the back side of the device., but device working continuously without any issue. Also noticed the difficulty in accessing the device thru web for more detailed configuration and management. I feel it is due to problem with Instant on Web Link.

Excellent access point
I needed a replacement for another brand which just wasn't up for the job. Constant loss of connection in spite of three AP's spread across the facility.Enter the Aruba AP25. I started by installing only one AP and it actually covered the entire facility but since it is critical that the entire space has stable connections I invested in a second AP which now means we have 75-100% signal on our WiFi everywhere (two floors with a total of 2.000 sqf).An added bonus is the PoE 👍Easy to install, expand and maintain. I bought it with the Aruba Instant On 1830 8G Switch and has it placed behind my ISP modem and a wired router/firewall of another brand.
Débit très faible et réseau instable
Après avoir TOUT configuré et relié en PoE cette antenne Aruba Instant On AP25 sur un switch de la même marque, nous constatons dans notre entreprise un débit très instable et des déconnexion fréquente. Le débit oscillle ent 0,68 Mb/s et parfois 450Mb/s parfois aussi il ne reconnaît pas ou met un long moment à détecter les appareils qui entre dans sa zone de couverture. Meme à quelques centimètres on peut se trouver à avoir 1,5 Kb/s autant dire pas de connexion !C’est du matériel HP à la base et sensé être professionnel ! Le wifi de la live box est 100 fois meilleur et ça me fait de la peine de dire cela mais c’est la veritéTout à parfaitement été configuré et les tests sont très élaboré par mes soins (distance, orientation, obstacle, configuration variée, type d’appareil, horaires de test, nombre d’appareil connectés tout ceci en comparaison avec le débit brut au départ de la box et avant de passer par l’AP25.Je n’est pas pour le moment trouver de solution palliative à cette erreur de casting. Je me contenterai du pauvre wifi de la box.Peut être le wifi 7 de la eero max 7 d’Bolo qui semble être la solution ultime comparativement au wifi 6 de cet AP25.Le seul point positif est l’administration depuis leur application IOS (mais assez minimaliste dommage !) de cette antenne AP25Point positif : pas de bruit, possibilité d’éteindre les voyant, chauffe pas mal 45-48 degré dans les conditions normales sur la face arrière mais une fois suspendu cela ne pose pas de problème. Attention à la proximité des caméra thermique.Point négatif (supplémentaire) : pour les particuliers vous n’aurez pas d’assistance comme nous professionnels pendant 90j Hp et Aruba ne vous autorise pas à échanger avec un technicien. C’est bon à savoir.
