5.0 out of 5 stars Very versitile air fryer -- AND More
(function() { P.when('cr-A', 'ready').execute(function(A) { if(typeof A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel === 'function') { A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel('review_text_read_more', 'Read more of this review', 'Read less of this review'); } }); })(); .review-text-read-more-expander:focus-visible { outline: 2px solid #2162a1; outline-offset: 2px; border-radius: 5px; } On arrival:The cooker arrived double boxed and well packed, which was good as the courier had apparently damaged the outer box, but the cooker was completely unharmed inside. On unpacking:The unit appears to be solid and well built. Although there was an Instruction book, I would have expected the “get you started recipe book” that comes with most cooking appliances that you purchase. That said, a Google search of -- cuisinart "TOA60" recipe booklet filetype:pdf --, did yield some helpful starter recipes and further information on using the cooker.First impression:The layout seems to have come from a bygone era; with good chunky knobs which need a firm grip to turn, You get the feel that this device is solidly built, although the function indicator decal is a bit small to read easily. Also you gotta love the ticking clockwork timers, its clearly designed in an era when analogue ruled supreme and as such it may not be the first choice of those who like light touch digital controls. That said; this traditional design may well have extra appeal to some people, especially those who follow the steampunk lifestyle. In Use:It preforms well and I was impressed just how fast it does cook, (compared to my gas oven) even in non air-fry modes. I would say that it is a big air-fryer and suitable for a family but as an general oven goes it is equally excellent for a couple. I really like the keep warm function as well, which is great when cooking a larger meal and you want to keep everything hot until serving time.Cleaning is not the easiest task, with the supplied baking tray needing some good elbow grease to get it clean after use. However, this was largely resolved by using smaller (washable in dishwasher) stainless steel baking trays (available from Bolo) on the shelf, instead of the supplied tray.In conclusion:Controls a little clunky, but fine when you get used to them. Alone its great as an air fryer, but it so much more versatile than that. Even given its higher price than most, I still recommend.
5.0 out of 5 stars very high quality
The first thing that struck me was the solid construction. All metal, no plastic. Also, the dials feel very solid. The one on my old air fryer broke off and made it unusable. I was surprised with the quality of the toast function, an even toast all around. I did not expect an Air Fryer to do that. It has a pull out tray on the bottom that makes cleaning very easy. The two level frying shelf provides a lot of versatility. I think this one will last a long time.
5.0 out of 5 stars Cuisine art oven
Fantastic oven 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
4.0 out of 5 stars Bit of a learning Curve.....then it is fine!
I purchased this Mini-Oven, as I am having the kitchen refitted, which takes some 6 weeks, because there are building works to be done also. So after having read the reviews, I decided to purchase this Mini-oven, but also noted the review. As I am now 4 weeks into using this Mini-oven, I have to say that I am actually please with it, but with some reservation. It has taken me a few weeks to get to learn various settings, and which combination of dials to use, and the different level of racking - but once I got the hang of it, it is not as bad as some reviewers put it. One states that doing toast takes a long time, not in my experiences, you simply need to turn the supplied shelf upside down and put it in top level rack, and ensure the temperature is set to 180c/200c it is just as quick as in the toaster and if not more efficient when doing 4 toasts at once! However I do put the dial on max (which is 6), but monitor to the brownness you like, then simply turn the dial off or add a little more, when done.I have done Toasties, this always turns out well, you do need to turn it over, about halfway cooking, otherwise only one side is done, Chips, Chicken, Pizza, roast vegs, and many things using either airfry or baking function, they all turned out well, but do monitor, as these Mini-oven they do cook a lot quicker than a normal fan oven! The basket provided are quite a good size, and if doing just chips they can serve four people easily, and it just 20mins or a bit less As there is just two of us , I start off the chicken portion for a short while (approx 8-10mins), then add in the chips in the same basket, and turn the chicken upside down all is done in 30mins! plus these elements takes a maximum of 1630watts so it uses much less electricity than a 3000watts oven.I do agree with some reviewers stating that the dials are difficult to read and they are, the groove which is an indicator is black, so it's difficult to see where you have your settings at, before you actually start to cook, why they not done it in white, I don't know! Some reviewers say they cant turn the dial back to off settings, you can, it just a little harder but not difficult. More importantly, you need to close the door to start cooking, this was my initial experience, where I though the fuse had gone, tried different switches, but it wasn't all that, just close the door, and on it comes! Then finally why don't they use LED's and buttons instead of dials, it would be so much easier to read and use. That is the only main drawback I have with this mini-oven, hence the 4 star, otherwise it does do the job - quickly and economically!
5.0 out of 5 stars Good quality
I like the luxurious feeling, like an appliance that use the middle class, also very versatile and easy to clean. Love it.

A solid toaster/air-fryer
This is my 5th Cuisinart toaster/oven. My 2nd toaster/air-fryer.My last one has digital controls and it was getting out of sync with the physical knobs after about 2+ years usage. It is still usable but is hard to zero in the temperature and the function I wanted. That is why I bought this one with all mechanical controls. By comparison, this one is more like retrofitting a toaster with an oven into one box. It is not as logically laid out as the digital control one that I had. But as long as it can last, if it will be, I don't mind. The toaster function cannot select the number of slices as my old one. However the result is this one seems to me has better toasting results. The fan cannot be separately controlled as my old oven but I don't care for this ability. The heating elements were bare in my old oven. Now they are shielded with a radiator-like metal. I think this is an improvement cause some the food I put in {using the top shelf for air-frying} is almost touching the heating elements.I am happy with this purchase but with couple concerns:1) The packaging uses two boxes making it very hard to take out one after the other.2) Inside the package, the air-fryer mesh is stored in the oven while the tray/griddle/rack is stored at the bottom of the box. This making the tray/griddle/rack easily missed and tossed away by accident as implied by other reviewers stated missing tray/rack.3) The tray is now made of some aluminum-looking material while my old Cuisinart had a stainless steel tray. I prefer stainless steel.4) It is stated in the product page that there are forever plastics in the griddle and may be in the tray. This should be avoided especially when the environment is with high temperature. These are just my concerns but not enough for me not to give it a full 5-star review.
The right size for the right price
Living in Florida, it's not fun to have the oven on adding to the ambient heat, so I was looking for a unit that could handle what I was looking to use for my meals supplementing my BBQ and dual basket air fryer. This multi-purpose oven does exactly that. For one, I appreciate the forethought in the design layout - a very well thought out device. I also love that it has analog knobs instead of all electronic push-buttons that like to prematurely fail. I did extensive research on this and avoided purchasing a smaller unit from the big "N* solely because of the size (too small) and all those push-buttons. After using this unit for 2 weeks now, I can safely say I made the right choice.
