Bulgarian Bee’s honey is harvested in the virgin forests of Bulgaria – a region in Northeastern Bulgaria, near the town of Dulovo, chosen specifically for beehives for its diverse flora and pollution-free air. Bulgarian Bee’s honey is “limited” which means we only sell honey that we collect from our own beehives. Unlike mass producers, we do not buy outside production to mix it with ours in order to increase its quantity and reduce quality. And, that is why we can guarantee that we always deliver the same pure, raw, non-pasteurized, cold-pressed honey to you – with care, love and minimal intervention. We leave the bees and nature do most of the job. Our wildflower honey is one of a kind as the bees are provided with over 3600 plant species to collect nectar from. One third of these species is used as herbs in the medicine (Thistle, Thyme, Oregano, Camomile, Hawthorn, Melissa, etc). It has a distinctive dark amber or red colour. Found this product a little tasteless if comparing with our local honey. It doesn’t have the floral or savoury notes of the honey in my region (UK). It taste has a sweet taste with a waters down floral note. I’ve given it 4 stars as it may be my palette, I may have got used to local honeys. Shame they don’t do a tester pot as it’s a huge jar to buy, if you are like me and can only taste the sweetness.

I bought this product - raw creamed honey - because it is a spreadable honey and easier to use on bread, etc, but when I opened the jar the content was a solid block. I contacted the seller about it through Bolo and I was told by the seller to place the jar in a warm place and the honey would be fine. Asked by Bolo via their messaging service if this had solved the problem I replied that it had, which was a mistake on my part, as I thought that following the seller's advice would rectify the problem, but it hasn't. After letting the jar stand for several days in a warm environment the honey is still one lump, definitely not spreadable, and the bit I was able to taste was grainy and far below the quality I was expecting and certainly not value for money.When I bought this honey I also ordered another raw, creamed honey from a different seller and they were delivered together, but the second honey is as described - creamy, spreadable, and extremely nice, and one I shall reorder.
