Overall they work great and are good quality

Not cheap, but easy to fit and setup and used to keep an eye on callers to mums house - added a security bracket to the external one though. Note a separate nest subscription is required for each property as we couldn't add these to our existing home nest subscription. Nest info bit mis leading but we set up additional house on Google Home app (named appropriately) first, then charged up each camera (only one lead!). Connected Google Home app to the wifi network at mums house, selected devices, add device, scanned the bar code on the camera (when charged and connected via the charging lead), went through the app selections and said yes to the nest subscription trial. Notifications working okay and can switch between properties on the Google Home app. Notifications are better than our pro CCTV system at home but night vision not as good, so added PIR light to front door.

We bought these so we could check in on my mum who has Dementia and alzheimers in case she has a fall etc. Well all seemed OK at start on full charge put them up and low and behold 4 days later living room camera battery flat followed by second camera shut down 6.5 days into use. Battery again. I bought a PSU for living room. Now runs on mains power. After second charge for Hall Cam it lasted 4 days , you guessed it another PSU bought. Now were at over £300+ for camera's that don't have zoom etc on them ,sound is ok. The app is the only saving grace and the ability to record whats happening on the google cloud although other companies now offer this.. The cameras are not worth the price charged and the batteries do not get any where near the life on a full charge that they claim. There are many other cameras on Bolo that are as good and some probably better for a lot less. Only time will tell if they were a good buy or a bad buy. I may amend this review at a later date when they have been used for a month or two.

I purchased the Nest Camera with high hopes, based on the brand reputation and product features advertised. However, it quickly became apparent that the actual performance and battery life fall considerably short of what was promised.The advertised battery life is an absolute joke. Despite being located in a light traffic area and with virtually all recordings and notifications switched off, the battery managed to last barely two weeks. Any attempt to utilise more features drastically reduces the battery life, getting it closer to a single day than to the weeks promised by the manufacturer. This effectively renders the camera's battery-powered functionality impractical, forcing users to constantly remove the camera to charge it.To overcome this significant shortcoming, I decided to purchase a power cable to maintain a constant charge to the camera. However, this seemingly sensible solution was short-lived. Less than 30 days into using the camera, it completely dropped off the network. Multiple attempts to reset the device and reestablish a connection have proven futile.It's worth noting that this issue isn't isolated to my home network or specific camera. I've had to return a previous Nest camera due to similar failings. Out of frustration I ended up upgrading all of my network to higher end equipment to no avail. All other devices on my network are functioning correctly, leading me to conclude that the issue is specific to these Nest cameras.Overall, I am deeply disappointed with my purchase. The product does not deliver on its advertised promises, has unreliable network connectivity, and the battery life is grossly inadequate for a supposed 'battery-powered' device. Given the product's price point and Google's reputation, such performance is unacceptable.I would not recommend this product based on my experience. If you're looking for a reliable, long-lasting, and hassle-free surveillance solution, I would suggest looking elsewhere.

Easy to set up and install. Works well and battery lasts a couple if months at a time. You have to reset and reinstall if you change WiFi though. You can't change it on the app.

Hardwire-wise they look alright, good aesthetics, decent battery life. However, it's the software that is so lackluster... Even plugged in, with a 24/7 recording sub, only records in short clips of 3 or so minutes when it detects motion. You can't download something that has been recorded if it thinks there was no motion associated - you can watch it, due to the 24/7 recording sub, but not download it. No easy way to scrub the timeline. Looking for things in history is painful, at best. No timestamp on the recordings nor downloads. It's more of a fun gadget than anything to use even half-seriously. Won't be able to return these as the window to do it has expired (bought them just before going away on hols to keep an eye on the house), but will NOT be keeping these as a long-term solution.
