I bought this cable to provide a connection between the upstairs router and the lounge. The cable run was partly outdoors so I wanted something weatherproof. The cable is a not particularly flexible because of plastic reenforcement inside the cable, however this proved not to be a problem for me. The cable was easy to strip and terminate.I can't comment on how well it performs speed wise, however I'm using it at 275mb/s which is is my Internet speed without issue.

Purchased May 2023. BT Internet max 65Mbs, worked fine, hence the 5 stars for Durability, Value for Money and Sturdiness. Upgraded to Virgin fibre 1Gbs and it tops out at 100Mbs. Plugged laptop direct into router - router is fine, checked RJ45's on cable fine, checked cables all wired correctly - cable tester. Summary, max 100Mbs cable.Revised :-As above problem with the cable, customer services have been great and put it down as a faulty cable. Had another reel and all okay on that one.

Great for putting around the outside of the house if its an older house and doesn't have ethernet in the walls of the house. If you dont want the mess, then use this and just make sure its neatly done when its tagged to the brick work. Cat 6 id future proof and will give you up to 10gb connections in the future, so worth paying for this over Cat 5. Have internet in every room in the house and to an external building too.

I purchased this item on a very tight budget, so was concerned it might not be up to scratch. My use for this cable was to run a cable from my Internet Router, out through a hole in the front of my house, around the side of my house and through another hole in the wall at the back of the house upstairs to feed internet to my home office.Had no issues with the cable whatsoever. Most of it is outside, but I am not receiving any sort of obvious drop in signal or interference, network speed is good, even in bad weather, and I am very glad for this product.

Used this cable to run direct from the Wifi router in the loft of my bungalow to a garden office, a good 70m run. The cable was flexible and easy to connect to the RJ45 connectors on each end. I now have 150+ mbs internet speeds in my office.

This is not one of the worst ethernetcables I’ve used because it is without a doubt the worst.If we used this ethernetcable at work, we would’t be in business anymore.Made a couple of patchcables with this roll, literally none of them are reliable at all. Touch the cable and the connection goes dead and when it works, it only links at 100Mbps. After that I used my decent roll af cat6a-cable and that works perfectly, even though it’s crimped with the same crimpingtool and with the same rj45-connectors.
