220W - Focal Car Audio ASE 165 With a dimension of 165mm, the ASE 165 component kit is a fundamental of the Auditor line. For nearly 20 years this system has benefited from many upgrades and has built its reputation around its reliability and its acoustic qualities which are unique to Focal and offered at a very attractive price. Combined with electronics or directly connected to the vehicle's original amplifier, this kit will considerably improve the audio experience in any type of cabin. Offering plenty of installation options, ASE 165 can be linked with other electronics or directly connected to the vehicle’s original amplifier. The tweeters can be mounted directly in the A-pillars or positioned in the vehicle's original locations. The kit's high power handling, combined with high sensitivity, guarantees an unrivalled level of performance in its category. It is perfect for a début Focal system and/or for improving your original sound system. Multiple Mounting Options The woofers can be either surface-mounted (grill provided) or installed in the vehicle's original locations. The inverted dome tweeters are delivered with brackets for surface or ‘flush’ mounting. The tweeter can also be removed from its flush support if you want to install it in the original tweeter’s location. Design The steel basket of the speaker driver is rigid and durable. The flat grilles supplied, in ABS and Mesh, are just as good-looking as they are inherent in the kit's performance. Finally, the black lacquer finish on the tweeter means it assimilates seamlessly into the cabin of all modern vehicles.

Fitted these in a 2013 Caddy van. They fit fine with the adapters (Not supplied) and the tweeters fit in the dash. There were no mounts in the dash so they're in with tape for now! They sound good. A big improvement over stock. The original door speakers are rivetted in and took a while to drill out! The second door was a lot quicker. Not exactly OEM replacement. Just to add to the confusion, the speaker wire colours out the back of the head unit are not the same when they get to the door! (No factory amp or crossovers fitted) Overall a good upgrade for the Caddy.

These are great sounding speakers ,I would highly recommend,I just replaced my existing broken van speakers with these ,the tweeters are clear and confident at doing the job ,great value for money as they were on offer at the time I bought these

I bought these for the front door speakers in my car. The tweeters fit into the original place and the main speakers needed adapters. They sound great, I have auditor rear shelf speakers and all together they produce a really good full sound.

In my car, on their own, they sound a bit bright and also a definite bass peak resonance which is probably influenced by the enclosure (doors in my case).- So might sound better in different install. I run these with a full range JBL 310 in the rear of the car and for that combo they are perfect complement.

Ottimi da amplicare però…
Ho gia un kit sul frontale della mia auto con autoradio Pioneer AVH-Z9200DAB . Con le sue uscite Mosfet però devo dire che le Focal non sprigionano il loro potenziale. Installato un amplificatore Pioneer GM-D1044 50x4rms e gli speaker suonano bene ma dando loro 70x2rms suonano a meraviglia!!! Bisogna però intervenire sull’equalizzatore e togliere un po di frequenze medie!!! Per il resto dando loro 70x2 rms sono davvero ottime !!! Consiglio l’acquisto ma pilotate con un ampli 4 canali e cedrete la differenza!!! Ps : taglio di frequenza consigliato 80herthz !!! a 63hz bisogna stare col volume un po più basso. Con uscita radio consiglio qualcosa di meno watt. Alla fine tagliate a 80 hertz scoppiate con ampli pioneer da 50x4 rms GM D1004 … 😔
Top Sound und Preis/Leistung
Da es hier noch keine deutschen Bewertungen gibt, nenne ich das Frontsystem also mal „Geheimtipp“.Eingebaut habe ich das Komposystem in meinem 2001er Mercedes C Klasse Sportcoupé. Wie bei jedem Frontsystem gilt auch hier: Dämmen, Dämmen, Dämmen und ein bedachter Einbau. Wenn man da an Zeit und Kleingeld spart, dann spart man echt am falschen Ende. In meinem Fall ist ne ganze Menge Alubutyl in den Türen gelandet und die Tieftöner sind auf MDF-Ringen verschraubt.Angetrieben mit einer kleinen Axton-Endstufe läuft das preiswerte Focal-Set zu Hochform auf.Die Tieftöner kommen recht tief und auch ohne Subwoofer macht das ganze schon Spaß. Ich unterstütze aber mit einem Musway in der Reserveradmulde. Da geht einiges.Die Hochtöner lösen super klar auf, sind aber weder agressiv, noch zu laut. Das hat Focal super hinbekommen. Daumen hoch. Da hab ich schon ganz anderes gehört. Den EQ habe ich ziemlich neutral eingestellt.Praktisch sind auch die Frequenzweichen. Sie sind kompakt und lassen sich problemlos in den Türen verstauen.Alles in allem ein, meiner Meinung nach, super Frontsystem für den ambitionierten Ein- und Aufsteiger. Focal zeigt auch in der günstigen Auditor-Serie, wofür der Name steht: großartiger Klang ohne Kompromisse. Ich bin zu Frieden und würds jederzeit wieder Kaufen.

Llevo una semana con ellas y se escuchan realmente bien.Tienen una buena calidad de sonido y suenan fuertes. No tienen mucho que envidiarle a vías separadas de precios superiores.

Le son est très clair. Ces enceintes font honneur à la marque. Le réglage de la radio suffit.
