Funktioniert perfekt, ist lautlos und stabil
Ich kann es als NAS nur empfehlen. Mein vorheriges QNAP hat nach vielen Jahren nun den Geist aufgegeben, daher ein neues Leergehäuse bestellt und somit auch mal einen ersten Härtetest machen müssen (ein zusätzliches backup hatte ich aber trotzdem noch, wenn auch nicht benötigt)Platten aus dem alten QNAP raus, ins neue rein, starten kurzer rebuilt und alles beim alten... so erwartet man es:)
Überteuert und nicht wie angegeben kompatibel.
Habe damala eine hs251 silent nas von qnap gehabt. Die ist leider kaputt gegangen. Zufrieden war ich mit der eh nicht, da ich die ganze "Installiererei" aller benötigten Apps zu aufwendig und lästig fand.Naja damit meine Platten aber in einer anderen NAS funktionieren, musste ich online auf der Homepage nach einem Ersatz suchen. Diese hier wurde mir als kompatibel angezeigt.Bestellt, Platten eingebaut und mir wurde auch angezeigt dass es sich um Qnap Partitionen handelt und "ob ich diese migrieren möchte (ohne dass Daten verloren gehen)."Das habe ich dann getan und die 100% waren überraschenderweise auch recht schnell erreicht.Dumm nur, dass mach dem anschließenden automatischen Reboot dieselbe Frage erneut kam und ich wieder nur "Daten migrieren" auswählen konnte.Löschen und das System neu aufspielen möchte ich auf keinen Fall und ist somit keine Option. Naja... nach der dritten Schleife habe ich es abgebrochen und die NAS zurückgeschickt.Vll bekomme ich meine alte NAS ja doch iwie wieder zum Laufen.Für 714 Euro ist es mMn aber komplett überteuert und nicht stabil. Dann schon lieber was in einer Range zwischen 200-300. Schade. Reine Zeitverschwendung.
Gutes Nachfolgeprodukt
Mein altes NAS HS-251+ war nach 7 Jahren defekt, offensichtlich die Platine/Leiterplatte zu heiß geworden, NAS ließ sich unmöglich mehr starten, da die beiden Festplatten aber offensichtlich noch in Ordnung waren habe ich dieses Nachfolgeprodukt bestellt. Der Preis ist zum Vorgänger nun nochmals um einiges gestiegen, jedoch wollte ich das NAS wieder im Wohnzimmer aufstellen und da ist ein Lüfter mehr als störend.Nach dem Auspacken wurden die beiden "alten" Festplatten eingesteckt und nach einigen Stunden war das neue NAS betriebsbereit. Alle Einstellungen (User, Daten) weiterhin vorhanden, nur PLEX musste neu installiert werden. Ein kleiner Wermutstropfen, das neue NAS kennt keinen "Ruhezustand", hatte das NAS in der Nacht über Zeitsteuerung immer in den Ruhezustand versetzt. Aber ansonsten bin ich sehr zufrieden und die Leistung hat sich ebenfalls gegenüber dem HS-251+ leicht verbessert.
Schnell und lautlos
Bedingt durch die Technologie lautlos (SSD, kein Lüfter) und trotzdem keine unangemessene Wärmeentwicklung im Normalbetrieb. Für meine Zwecke - Audio-Streaming und Bearbeitung von Audiodateien- ist die Prozessorleistung mehr als ausreichend, geht kaum über 10%, also noch viel Luft nach oben.
