This foam is great for dinning chair pads, sofa & chair cushions, window seats, office chairs, car seats, garden furniture, footstools etc. With all the different options available we are sure to have the prefect foam for you.
High density foam has a compression rate of 44 lbs. It features the perfect amount of cushioning and stiffness. Its soft but still holds its firmness and support for an individual to sit on it without compressing the foam too much.
Compression means the number of pounds necessary to compress a piece of foam 25% and still bounce back to the original thickness. For example, a 4" thick piece of foam that requires 33 lbs. To pack it down 1" and have it return to its full 4" thickness has a 33 lb.

For Example: If You are buying foam of size (12x12x4), then size is 12x12 and thickness is 4 inches. Do not misunderstand it with the quantities.

My dog needed a step up/down from the sofa, so measured half way and got the precise measure in foam. It's soft but sturdy at the same time so works out perfect for him. I kept it in the package to keep in a block and just covered it in an old jumper. Great.

The item was delivered a day earlier than the stated delivery time at checkout, so that was a good starting point. In terms of the item, there's not a lot to review other than to say it was the correct size as ordered, the cutting was square (no bizarre cut angles or curvy lines), and it's a suitable density of foam. I can't comment on how it functions for upholstery as I'm not using it for that - actually using it as a large pad for a heat press. which I tested yesterday and it did a great job (placed under a teflon sheet) - the ready made press pillows you find online weren't big enough for my press so this was a good and cheap alternative.
