The media could not be loaded. Amazing quality! I have a lot of fires and trying to break down bits of wood from furniture was a long,hard process. This axe has made everything much easier, chops through wood straight away

Okay, folks, buckle up. I just received the finely crafted axe I’ve been waiting for. It’s sturdy, well-built, looks like it could fell an entire forest with one swing... in theory. But spoiler alert: the only thing this axe is capable of chopping is my patience.Let’s start with the good stuff. This axe is like the muscular gym bro of the tool world—heavy, solid, and I swear it could be used to break into a bank vault if you really needed it to. The craftsmanship is beautiful. It feels like something you’d find in a Viking’s tool shed, ready for some serious outdoor adventure. Unfortunately, that adventure is about to be very disappointing because... the blade is as sharp as a soggy spoon.I’m not talking about a "mildly dull" axe here. I’m talking about an axe so blunt it couldn’t even chop a wet Weetabix. Yes, I tried. I thought maybe I was being dramatic, so I went for the classic "throw some wood on the ground and see if this thing can do its job." But nope. The axe head just made a sad little thud, like it was embarrassed to even try. The most action I got out of it was some really enthusiastic splinters of my dignity.You could use this axe as a back massager or a doorstop, sure. But don't even think about using it for actual chopping unless you’re planning to just sort of bang the wood until it feels bad for you and breaks on its own.In conclusion, this axe is like the perfect friend who looks great on paper, but when it’s time to do anything useful, you’re just left standing there, wondering why you even bothered. If you need something to hold your place in the woods but have no intention of actually chopping anything, congratulations, you’ve found your new best friend. If you're hoping for sharp, functional tools, you might want to look elsewhere—or maybe just use your fingernails. They’re about the same level of effectiveness.
