Arrived with one mat damaged on a corner, looked to have been damaged during manufacturing, as it was a mat in the middle of the pack and no bits off the mat in the sealed packaging, however a new set were delivered the following day. That's the reason for 4 stars, the place mats though are just what we wanted and look lovely on the dining table.

Such a wonderful little gift, design is intricate and Spode is a very popular, well established brand perfect for gift giving. My boyfriend's mum was so delighted with it and it was my first xmas gift to her so was quite nervous about whether she would like it and she did! William Morris designs are so classic and sophisticated.

Ein Glücksgriff
Wunderschöne Untersetzer, ein Stück englische Geschichte und skandinavischer Lifestyle bei jeder Tasse Tee oder Kaffee oder einem Glas Wein. Der perfekte Miniurlaub für zwischendurch im Alltag. Wenn man sie aus der Verpackung rausnimmt, riechen sie erst sehr stark und etwas unangenehm, aber das verflüchtigt sich in den darauffolgenden Stunden schnell. Durch die Korkunterlage leiten sie keine Wärme an den Holztisch bspw. weiter, und die Oberfläche ist leicht zu reinigen. Ich habe ein anderes Set mit italienisch-historischen Mustern seit 30 Jahren im Gebrauch - sie sehen heute noch wie neu aus und fühlen sich auch so an. Keinerlei Material- und Verarbeitungsermüdungserscheinungen v.a. bei der Bildoberfläche, auch kein Ausbleichen der Farben durch Tageslicht. PS: Meine erste Bestellung erlitt eine Transportbeschädigung; Bolos Kundenservice reagierte in Folge top! Danke dafür.
