I haven't used head and shoulders for years , I was looking for a mild soothing shampoo and conditioner as my scalp was irritated after bleaching my hair. This one caught my eye, read throw the reviews and thought I'd try it.I was so surprised, lathered up really well, no soreness while using , I did use the conditioner along with the shampoo and I have to say my hair was so soft, even after one use my scalp felt soothed and really clean no dry areas. I've kept using this as it's such a good product plus the size of the bottle is such good value for money which is what we all need these days. This is definitely my new brandIf you are looking for a mild soothing shampoo this is definitely the one!

Works well on my head after a couple of washes no more itching,unfortunately as it was put in a thick envelope and not covered it had leaked into the cardboard envelope,should have been protected so this didn’t happen

Helps dandruff alot, and helps hair growth too, leaves hair feeling clean and shiny, and very effective. Size of bottle last me a few months, and it’s very easy to use. Will continue use of it as it helps my hair be less itchy.

This is the nicest and best dandruff/dry itchy scalp shampoo I've ever used. My scalp always needs a dandruff shampoo because it's dry (although my hair gets greasy at the roots) and large flakes can build up at the hairline. This is so, so soothing and I massage it gently into my scalp and I feel good as new. Such a relief. I use it every time. The scent is lovely too with cactus extract, aloe vera and vit E. I don't wash my hair every day so I shampoo twice each time I wash. Massage all over and leave on for couple of minutes which does the trick. It doesn't dry out my hair (which is bleached by hairdressers) or seem to strip out the colour. If I've left my hair a little too long, say a week, before washing, and it's become very itchy, I follow it up with 'H&S Dermax pro Soothing Relief rinse off scalp balm' which is cooling and H&S matching Dermax pro conditioner and my scalp feels lovely again.

This is the best shampoo for sensitive and itchy scalp.This has helped me to get my itchy scalp under control and even helped me to grow my hair faster.It definitely leaves your scalp healthier.Definitely a must buy for me.

I feel like this shampoo leaves a residue in my hair and therefore by the next day my hair feels dirty again and therefore itches again. Fragrance is ok but overpowering. Bottle is slippery to hold when wet and also the cap is a nightmare it's so tight to unclip. Huge bottle though for the price so if you love the product it's very good value.
