As a disabled person, I am limited to lying or sitting all day. This can lead to skin discomfort, especially as I have to wear incontinence underwear. I bought this for my baby to treat nappy rash, it has a lovely baby powder scent and is thick and soaks in well. It has helped with the nappy rash but not cleared it entirely. I would recommend for regular use though.

I had high hopes for this cream, mostly out of nostalgia for the thick, soothing zinc and castor oil ointments I grew up with. Unfortunately, this version falls short. The consistency is far too runny to provide a proper barrier, especially for nappy rash—it doesn’t stay put and absorbs too quickly to be effective long-term.The scent is pleasant at first but quite strong, and it might not suit sensitive skin or babies. Also, the large jar is misleading—it’s nowhere near full, which feels like a bit of a letdown. While it’s not a terrible product, it simply doesn’t live up to the classic formulation I remember.If you're looking for something rich and reliable for skin protection, this may not be the one. A decent cream overall, but not the lasting, protective balm many of us remember.
