I bought this double bed size valance sheet, quite hesitantly, for my Diwan bed. I wasn't sure if it would fit well and cover the sides of the bedframe as the drawers of the Diwan are quite deep. Upon trying it out, it fit perfectly. Now after having been washed and lightly ironed, it's on the bed and looks great. There was no shrinkage after the wash. A good buy. I'm really pleased with it. 😸

Said it should be pleated but it's not, it's frilled. Also too big by approx 6 inches for a double bed. Despite that. It's good value for money and decent quality. To be honest it's not worth sending back but will do until I can wash and dye the one taken off.

The base cover looks great, and it was purchased to cover underbed storage. The material feels like thin cotton or linen, and it can be washed in a machine. I wouldn't describe the material as being soft, but it is not designed to lie against the skin. However, the material is quite smooth. I purchased a base cover in cream which has more white and light tones than the traditional hue of cream. Overall, I would recommend this item.SizeThe double fits perfectly on a 120 cm width frame, so you may need a larger size depending on the size and length of your bed frame depending on the style that you want to achieve. With the double size, I achieved the look in the photo and it was great value for money. Under the mattress, the product has remained in place and does not slip around.
