I’m using the blue makeup sponge atm which is recommended for my oily skin and I must say it’s excellent and such good value compared to buying elsewhere! It’s so gentle and doesn’t drag my skin and this pack is great as has given me the opportunity to try a variety of sponges without spending a fortune!

Orange and Pink were swiftly stolen off of me by my daughters so I can't comment on them but there foundation has been looking smoother since! They all have different textures and I find the blue applies my powder better than any other sponge.

Love these for applying foundation. I’ve spent my whole life using fingers or foundation brushes, however these are much better for a flawless base. I tried them many ways when I first used them. After lots of trial and errors, the method that works best for me is; to wet the foundation sponges with as hot a water as possible, then I squeeze it out so it just damp, and whilst it’s still hot I apply my foundation, the warm sponge makes the foundation spread easy, like a warm liquid rather than a cold liquid. Once my face is covered, I wash the sponge, then roll it over my face to absorb any thick or uneven foundation patches, I do this untill my foundation looks like flawless skin.

Used the larger sponge for the first time by dampening and squeezing out excess water. Worked really well applying my foundation in a smooth but light coverage. Washed it clean, squeezed it out, and was shocked to see a small crack had appeared. I don't think I was washing it particularly aggressively so am disappointed with the quality. Lucky there are two in the pack! The packaging has an excessive amount of plastic - for that reason alone I will try another brand.

The price of this set for me was loads better than what the shop prices are so I was very happy with my purchase! Delivery was as expected. I always use real techniques blenders and find them really good quality! Brushes and fingers just dont work for me when applying foundation. This pack has everything for foundation, contour and mistakes/blend. I use the little ones to blend my blusher. I wet the orange ones for foundation with vitamin e spray as I find it applies my foundation really nicely and evenly, also great for a night out look as easy to build up the layers. Blender works well with my cream contour kit aswell. Would highly recommend! Xx
