These are not cheap but have a nice flavour and are perfectly good at a pinch when one is very busy and needs a carbohydrate with one’s dinner late at night
It's great
It's very nutritious and good quality, versatile with it's different purposes, delicious too and cheap.
Disappointing taste
I do not add salt, butter, cheese, oil etc as I am following Esselstyns plant based diet to reverse heart disease. The flavour had an odd starch rather than potato taste. It mixed up ok with just under boiling water. The organic qualifications seem good eg Soil Association yet it still had the taste of many shop bought products which I have tried before.It will be fine if you use lots of seasonings and butter or cream to jazz it up . Nothing to write up about else. Useful if you need to make home made shepherds or cottage pie or require some instant mash. You get a large packet that more than filled my plastic container. It is the one that has the lever mechanism to open and lock and claims is a litre one. As for value for money it might be better sold in 500 ml versions for convenience of users though the manufacturer may only be interested in bulk orders. It comes from Germany according to the label on the pack so one wonders if EU stuff is now more expensive since we did Brexit.

This should bulk up bland meals on wild hiking trips. Arrived well packaged. I will be buying again.

Hubby loves his instant mash for a fast carby snack with no mess, but it's impossible to get one in the supermarket now that doesn't contain dairy. This is excellent - just pure potato, and organic as a bonus. Mixes well, and hubby can add additional seasoning and flavoring as he likes. Will buy again.
beware of possible allergen cross contamination
they don't show a picture of the back of the packet, but when received I was horrified to find the info on the back re possible cross contamination from multiple main allergens. I should have gone to their own website to find the pitfalls before I ordered.
