The key action brilliantly replicates a genuine typewriter action - I learned on manual typewriters, and progressed to electric typewriters when I worked as a secretary a very long time ago.The key action doesn’t require too much effort but definitely has the resistance and sound associated with a traditional type writer. It is extremely satisfying to use. It isn’t quiet, however, so if you work somewhere with someone else, I suspect the key noise could be irritating to someone listening. No worries for me, as I am using it at home. The body of the keyboard is clearly plastic, which perhaps might bother some, but it is robust and well finished. It looks great with the rose gold keys as contrast.I have paired the keyboard with a wireless mouse and added a Bluetooth dongle which attaches to my iPad. This has given me more flexibility and means I can access all the touch functions of the iPad without having to lean across the keyboard. Using a mouse with the keyboard is a much more natural typing experience.I was initially worried about the iPad cradle, as I wasn’t sure it would be robust enough to support my iPad - once in use, however, there doesn’t seem to be any problem, and the whole set up looks very attractive as well as working extremely well.If I am working for any length of time, I prefer to have the iPad raised up to eye level, as looking down at the cradle makes my neck ache a little. It is absolutely fine for shorter periods, and would depend where you were working anyway. Raising up the iPad is no problem at all - the wireless connectivity is not compromised.Before buying the keyboard, I would use my iPad for browsing and short emails, reading etc but if I wanted to send long emails, deal with business, create documents or write letters, I would use my laptop. I can now get so much use out of my iPad that I rarely get the laptop out at all. Connecting takes no time at all - you just switch the keyboard on and you are ready to go. Gone are the hassles of getting the laptop out, waiting for it to boot up, logging in etc.All in all, this was an expensive purchase, but I am absolutely delighted with it. The product gives me great joy even when not in use, as it is so beautiful. The greatest joy is, of course, in using it!

I use this product with my iPad Pro and it sits pretty nicely (horizontally) on the device folder attached to the keyboard. I bought this as it reminds me of my first typewriter which was a gift from my father. The experience is more like an electronic typewriter, not the manual version but it’s joyful nevertheless. Super easy to connect via bluetooth and it comes different tips detailed in the accompanying manual. It is on the pricey side — however I do feel I got my money’s worth. Very sleek, well built novelty keyboard. I am very happy with the product and highly recommend it to anyone who love typing!

I am writing all the time and am loving the way the keys feel when I type. I love the sound of the keyboard as well. The product looks a lot better than the pictures and for the most part I am happyHowever, there is a flaw which has stopped me giving a 5 star rating.The " and @ symbols are in the wrong place on the keyboard. When I type the symbol @, the symbol that is showing is". and vice versa.I am not going to return the keyboard because of it, however, I do think it's important the manufacturer knows of the problem and looks into it.

the functionality of the side handle is not the same as the retro typewriter ie the handle doesn’t make your page skip to the next line and the scroll button is a sound button ( makes sound go up and down) apart from that it goes give you a feeling you are writing on an old fashioned type writer ! takes different devices ( ipad , phone etc ) we love it !

Love the sound of the keys. It’s comfortable to use. Only bugbear is that the volume control doesn’t reduce the sound at all.

It makes typing a joy; it took me a while to pair using bluetooth, but that was because I didn't read the instructions properly. I've only just bought it yesterday, so I may update with regards to the battery life.So far, it is an absolute joy to work with.

The keys almost sound and feel like a real typewriter, which is great for the typer, but not so great for your colleagues, hehe. The Bluetooth connection is easy to setup, but I mostly use it cabled, so I'm not sure how stable it is. With cable, it's perfect!

Él teclado es precioso, muy cómodo de trabajar con el. Aunque estoy teniendo dificultades con la configuración al español aunque la ñ está en su sitio y la escribe bien. Pero la arroba se me resiste. Debo ser yo seguro. Pero aún así me encanta.
