I wanted to keep these separate from my main SIM and needed something cost-effective since I wouldn’t be making many outgoing calls. After looking into various options, I chose Lebara due to their reliance on the Vodafone network, which offers superb coverage and 5G support. The fact that Lebara is recommended by Which was also a big plus.The deal on this SIM is amazing: 5GB of data, 1000 UK minutes, 1000 texts, and 100 international minutes, all for £5. I was impressed with how fast the SIM arrived, nicely packaged and well-presented. Setting it up was effortless. The SIM activated automatically once I inserted it into my phone, and it was ready to go.I use this SIM in both my phone and tablet, and the flexibility to swap between devices is fantastic. The SIM handles everything I throw at it, from WhatsApp messaging to watching YouTube videos on the go. I’ve also tested it in my car, and it pairs easily for calls, navigation, and even as a hotspot, thanks to the generous 5GB data allowance.The call quality has been top-notch, with clear, uninterrupted conversations. In fact, it’s noticeably better than my main Virgin Media SIM. For international calls, I’ve only reached out to family in Italy, and the quality was impeccable. The 100 minutes included are more than enough for my needs, but it’s good to know I can top up easily if required, with great deals like 50% off for three months when you renew.Lebara’s website makes topping up incredibly straightforward, and the reminders they send ensure you never run out of credit. The MyLebara app is also very intuitive and helps you keep track of your usage and balance effortlessly.All in all, I’m extremely satisfied with this purchase. It’s an excellent choice for anyone needing a basic SIM with a great balance of data, minutes, and texts at a very reasonable price. Bought this SIM for using data whilst abroad, as it was going to work out cheaper than paying my usual provider (Three) for roaming. What's great is that it's on a 30-day rolling contract, so you only have to pay for the month(s) that you're away. Having said that, I'm seriously considering just switching to Lebara once my Three contract is up!Because my phone has two SIM slots, it's been easy to see how the signal strength and coverage compares to Three - and wow, Lebara does appear to come out superior! It's pretty good value for money too.The only niggle that I have really is setting it up initially was a little tricky, so I'd recommend making sure that it's set up before you leave home! So if data doesn't work for you when you insert the SIM, you have to follow the steps below - I've also uploaded a screenshot to help. You have to go into the advanced mobile network settings on your phone and set up a new APN (Access Point Name), and set:-Name: uk.lebara.mobiAPN: uk.lebara.mobiUsername: WAPPassword: WAPOther than the initial setup being a bit awkward, the SIM has worked flawlessly. As I say, network coverage and speed seem better than 3 in the UK and abroad! Speedtest result is from when I was on in Norway, where I was not expecting such a great connection whilst in the middle of lots of high mountains!

I use two lebara aims (plus my wifes) and.just too up £10 a month so £0.33 a day roughly. I only use a 2g Nokia feature phone (6310 new model from last year) and other than very basic web browsing for news I don't use anywhere near 3g a month. The other SIM lives in a desktop landline that we use as a house phone. This is just voice calls so my wife can call me and know I'm not going to miss the call because the phone is on silent.For £10 a month I couldn't be happier. I actually think when 5g routers come down in price I will invest in one and plug a landline phone in the back so I'm getting all my phone and broadband for £25 a month.As a telecoms provider Lebara is too notch. The website is simple and quick. It's never been down in the whole time I've used it Nd top ups go through without issue. They also send me a reminder.to top is 48 hours before it is due to expire but I usually just chuck £20 on at a time when I have the spare cash so I've never had that very 2000's experience of "being out of credit" sI'm debating getting another Nokia 4g feature phone so I can watch youtube and will definitely stay with Lebara for that to, but 2g is stated as being available until 2033 so I have enough time to decide!Can't speak to international calls as I have no use for those but with WhatsApp and telegram etc. I think that's becoming less important with the rise in sales in smartphones in developing countries (even Africa is benefiting from low cost Kaios phones and internet initiatives) so your data is probably enough these.days.Overall I'd compare Lebara to monzo bank in that they have taken something old and clunky (phone companies and banking) and made it so simple and effective.you really never think about it anymore.Hope this review is helpful and you have the sa!e experience as I did

Yo tengo un teléfono libre dual sim y llevo las dos sims, la mía española y la de lebrara. Activo la sim lebara y tengo conexión a Internet y llamadas en uk. De vuelta a España la puedes usar sólo para datos. Muy satisfecho. Por 5 GBP, no se puede pedir más

I wouldn't use it again
I used it for a weekend with my son in Wales. I don't have a data plan for the UK. It said 5GB for 5 GBP. When I tried to activate the credit (I was in the UK, it didn't work). I emailed support on the 17th January in the afternoon but they didn't activate just asked how much credit qas purchased. After sending another mail, it eventually got activated, but with 2.5GB and with a delay of more than 20 hours. (The instructions say a few hours-yiu can call them but no credit means no call!). After several more email, they told that depending on when you activate the amount of data purchased wont necessarily be the amount you bought as their offers vary from day to day!. I bought 5GB but got 2.5GB.

Funktioniert nicht, Verkäufer stellt sich ahnungslos. Nach Rücksprache mit dem Provider kann die Karte gar nicht in Deutschland funktionieren sondern muss in UK aktiviert werden. Verkäufer hält einem nur hin und bietet keine Lösung an.
