It is a proper tripod.- It is robust & sturdy. [It is not like many ‘phone’ tripods - it is not so flimsy that it waves around for a while when you move it.]- It has a standard ¼ inch tripod screw fitting so it can also take proper cameras in addition to its adapter for smartphones & tablets.- It can swivel 360 degree around, 180 degrees vertically from looking straight down to looking straight up and it can be tilted to one side. It has a small spirit level on top so you can achieve a decent level surface when needed.- Its phone & tablet adapter can be screwed on vertically or horizontally [it has two screw sockets]. I’ve tried both my 6½ inch phone & my 10 inch tablet and they both fit well & do not seem to be in any danger of slipping out accidentally.- Its height can be continuously varied up to its maximum 60 inches. The central pillar & the legs can all be pulled out just as far as you want [it’s not all or nothing]. You can pull each leg out as much as you need when using the tripod on uneven ground.There are some instructions [photo attached] but you’d learn as much about it with five minutes fiddling about experimenting.- The instructions do not mention the phone & tablet attachment but a glance at it and you’ll see how it can be fitted & used.- The phone-tablet adapter is quite well illustrated in the product page photo headed ‘1 Universal phone holder’ but do note that the adapter can be fitted horizontally or vertically.BUTThe bag it comes in is big enough for the tripod itself but is too small for the phone & tablet attachment to be put in there. So you’ll probably end up using a small rucksack like I’m doing.There are no instructions for the Bluetooth remote control.- There’s a small piece of thin plastic stuck in underneath the [CR2032] battery so it does not drain in storage / transit. Pull that out and you’re ready to go.- There’s a slider switch on the right-hand side as the camera icon button-face is uppermost with its text the readable way up & the loop towards you. It’s difficult to put into words but is well illustrated in the first picture at the top of the product page & in my own picture.- Slide that switch forward and the Bluetooth is turned on. Its blue light blinks at least once.- To pair it with your phone, press the camera icon button-face down for a few seconds until its blue light blinks rapidly. The details of phone pairing vary with different phones but you’ll generally need to- - turn on your phone’s Bluetooth,- - tell it to search for new devices,- press the entry for AB Shutter3 to connect.If you then turn on the phone’s camera, pressing the remote’s camera icon button-face will take a picture.- I understand that some phones also need a setting made in their preferences/options to allow remotes to control them but I have not witnessed that myself.I dislike the omission of a lanyard to go through the loop in the Bluetooth remote control.- The remote is very small & very black so it is very easy to misplace.- I managed to find a spare one in my useful things box that was just big enough to go around my wrist and that, I think, will be the most useful way of keeping it both handy & secure while I’m out & about using the tripod.

I use this Kingjoy model with smartphone and it does get the job done.It is lightweight, but that means there is a slight feeling of lack of sturdiness and stability. As I have not tested it with a DSLR or heavy camera, I cannot make any specific comments, but it feels like it can hold up against moderate weighing cameras.The packaging is compact, looks good and the added Bluetooth clicker is a good bonus. For the price it demands, it is definitely value for money. If you are a professional photographer, you may need to invest in a slightly sturdier one.

Just received the product. Comes in box, in its own bag and with a remote & phone holder. Feels really sturdy & looks like a premium tripod. Can’t argue with anything. Superb buy for the price & I am picky when purchasing goods. Great item! Also has a small levelling bubble on top of tripod

Tripod is incredibly lightweight and fulfills its purpose effectively. I own a Canon R50, a compact camera that’s an ideal fit for this tripod. Since it’s a lightweight tripod, it’s advisable to avoid attaching heavy accessories like lenses to your phone or camera. Overall, it’s a great product. I highly recommend it to beginners in photography or those seeking a budget-friendly tripod.
