IMPORTANT - Requires permanent live, switched live and neutral wires (3 cores excluding earth) at the fan connections to function correctly.
IET Regulations (U.K.) allow for IPX5 fans to be installed into zone 1 without the need for low voltage transformer.

A well made and good looking extract fan, not quite as quiet as I had hoped but far better than the 20 year old Manrose fans they are replacing. If these last the same as the old ones we will be more than happy.

This fan is good because it can be installed in Zone 1. It is very quiet - have to concentrate to be sure it is actually going but works well.It is neat and would have merited 5 stars if the front casing was a little less flimsy to take off for cleaning. Good value for money for a Zone 1 fan.

Fan was well packaged and arrived undamaged. Not difficult to fit and fix inside existing 100mm flexible ducting, to make electrical connections, to install through ceiling and fix in place and to adjust timer. Overall impression after one month's use - good product and good price.

Bought this product on 2nd June and it stopped working on 18th July. Bit disappointed with the product.I do not recommend this to friends. 30 days return policy doesn't help in these scenario.

Needed this to replace an old Xpelair unit that had given up. I was after something that looked quite unassuming and the front place which hides the actual fan is a really nice touch and does not seem to hinder the suction power of the fan. Whilst considerably quieter than the old unit it isn't silent but you would not expect it to be otherwise it wouldn't have the suction power you need. It was easy to fit and I am pleased with the purchase.

Not really a quiet fan. Bought this to replace a Vent-Axia that went crazy after about five years and switched on and off randomly. The old fan purred quietly, making little more noise than a fridge. The Manrose roars as loudly as any extractor fan I've ever heard.It clears the air, was easy to fit and looks good, the cover can easily be removed for cleaning and unlike the old fan is well made enough not to break when you clip it back on.An okay fan, but if quiet is your criterion look elsewhere.
