I also need one where the ink dries very quickly, so it doesn't get smudged. These fit the bill perfectly. To my untrained hand (definitely not a professional writer), they feel and write exactly like the more expensive pen they are clearly modelled after. A friend of mine had one of the more expensive ones, we both compared them and couldn't tell the difference between them.When I compare these to the previous needle point gel pens I used (same 0.5mm size), they are so much better and seem to last so much longer. I really liked my old pens, but I could easily go through 1 in a week quite easily, so was quite often having to buy more. With these, several weeks later and I'm still on my first one. I thought that the needle-point on my old wrote smoothly, but compared to these, using the old pen now feels like I've gone back to roman times and am chiselling messages on stone.The price for a pack of 16 is good, and doesn't work out too much per pen, unlike some of the brand-name ones that don't seem to last anywhere near as long.I'd love to say I'm definitely buying these again as I really like these pens, but with how long they seem to last it could be a while before I need to. Hopefully they're still in production then. If they are, then I'll almost definitely be buying another set.

You can’t see the ink inside though, the gauge on the pen is printed on and not a real window into the pen.

It seems a weird thing to say that a pen feels amazing. But these do. They write really well, the nibs a not too thin and they don’t scratch the paper. I’ll be buying more of these after I make my way through these.
