My heart sank. I plugged this in and cleared the codes and my car start right up. Saved me having to get someone out, or having it towed to a garage.The only problem I've found with this is that if you want to add more car makes to the app they only last one year, and at £20 a year it makes more sense to just buy another device if you have a second car because the first make you choose lasts forever.

I purchased this to diagnose faulty parking sensors on my Kia Ceed after a more expensive scanner failed to do som This one successfully scanned the fault codes.I like its portability, making it easy to store in the car or anywhere else. It has many features listed on the box, I have tested a lot of them and most of the. seem to work,The app is fast and updates instantly when testing the on/off state of things, but the UI could be simplified. The app doesn't always work on WiFi, I couldn't enable service mode, and the auto VIN function doesn't work, which is inconvenient as it doesn't save the model when memory is lost.Overall, despite the issues I would still recommend this product just ensure to check on the website if your model is definitely supported

Took a few tries to work out how to use it and you have to be quick coding the injectors or the ecu times out, so a YouTube video might be nice addition. Having looked at other ways to code the new injectors this was the least grief and works well.

It works but1. Fail to decode my car type by vin. Need manually input.2. Support many brands in the list but if only got 1 brand for lifetime. If you need extra, you need to subscribe £22 (current price) per year. So if I presume if I changed my next to the other brand, this thing can directly go to garbage as 3 years subscription would be expensive than the adapter itself.🤔

This supplied item was Real not a fake one :)I am sure for some older cars it is exceelent BUT...for new BYD cars it does not work (mine is a BYD Dolphin1) it seems to only support old BYD petrol cars and tractors2) the generic reports dont work either *car is noit supported" message

I bought this in June and I thought it was pretty good.I used it a few times to find faults.But it failed in mid September (about 3 months). I contacted Autel UK who just point blank said the don't offer support for it.I messaged Autel.com who didn't even reply.I don't know how many stars it warrants as it worked pretty good when it worked. But when it doesn't you're on your own.

Kept disconnecting whilst scanning. Apps are confusing. Why do I need two apps to use it? Had to return for a refund. I tried four times to get a full system scan on my discovery 4 (3.0 sdv6) and couldn’t get a single one to successfully complete. There aren’t any instructions included amd the app(s) aren’t very intuitive.

All I wanted was an inexpensive OBD reader, and this is certainly that. It has a bright, easy to read screen, decent length cable, and simple controls. Well worth the price, and better than some much more expensive OBD readers I have used. I didn't rate the tech support because I've never had to use them.

Great little scanner to use before the state's emissions test

I was having a very hard time fixing an error code related to the EVAP system, which triggered the engine light on. With the engine light on, the car would not pass emissions. Even though I changed the gas cap, the LDP (leak detection pump), the canister purge valve solenoid, the PCM/ECM, tested for shorts, and smoke tested the EVAP system, I could not fix the mysterious problem. After reconnecting the battery and clearing the codes, I performed a full drive cycle to get all the systems ready. This little scanner told me that all sub-systems were ready to pass inspection, except the EVAP system. Yet, the scanner showed a green light, indicating that it would pass inspections. I stopped right there and took it for inspection. To my surprise, it did pass the emission inspection, as the scanner suggested! Even though I have a much more expensive and capable car scanner, the Autel MP808, this little scanner has the I/M function which tells you whether the car is ready to pass emissions while the MP808 does not. At the price, it is worth it. Also, the AL329 automatically detects the car's VIN, which saves time and effort. This is a great little scanner.
