IL DOGE is a high aromatic yield top quality syrup fine with fruit juice. These are perfect ingredients for preparing cold drinks, granita ices, milkshakes, aperitifs, cocktails and long drinks that satisfy those who want to add a “touch of fruit ” to their beverages. In the IL DOGE line you will find also a wide range of flavoured syrups especially created for coffee preparation. They make excellent replacements for superfine sugar and can be used not only to sweeten coffee or tea but also, for example, to make vanilla or caramel flavoured cappuccinos, chocolate milkshakes, hazelnut hot chocolate or a simple pistachio coffee.

Interesting, I wondered before buying if it would taste more like apple juice or apple candy, and it's a bit of both. I'd say the taste is about 60-80% apple juice flavour (like you would get with Appletiser) and 20-40% apple candy flavour. This is a good ratio, and makes for a clean crisp taste. Unlike a lot of the other syrups when you mix this with water it goes cloudy, and you have to put a bit more in to get the same sweetness, I think because it has more acid taste than other syrups. I like it but not sure if I would buy again as I like other flavours more and many others still to try!

Whoever packed the bottle obviously saw that the bottle was crusted with dried sugar and didn’t care. The bottle wasn’t leaking so it was packed like that. The product is good if expensive but the seller obviously isn’t interested in their customers. I will certainly buy elsewhere in future.
