I've had them installed for a couple of years and haven't had any issues at all. Having a manual button to turn them on/off is useful.

I bought this LED strip to put round my IKEA pegboard and am amazed with the results. It was super easy to set up and the software it comes with is super easy to use. I paired it with my Bolo Alexa and all I need to say is "Alexa turn the pegboard on" and it does it instantly - it's awesome!

I've got quite a lot of the Tapo ecology of smart home devices, this integrates well alongside other items in their app and doesn't require their hub (seems to be needed only for two-way / sensor devices), connecting via wifi. The pre-set colours and patterns are good and has fiddling potential with lots of customisation.The in-line controller is handy for turning on/off without the phone or configured Alexa commands, but although it has other functions, the time needed for it to realise multiple clicks = long command vs new command means I keep performing the wrong action.The last half-metre is slightly different depending on colour/intensity, as though the juice doesn't quite make it along the full length, so the 5M is truly the limit, not enough of a difference to matter though.Probably the biggest frustration is positioning. Whilst actual installation is super easy, removing a bit of backing tape as you apply to the chosen surface; The mounting is a one-time deal, it would be easier if a much weaker tape could be attached behind the main for temp positioning, or sticky tags on either end for a rough approximation. Tried using blutack but this won't stick to the backing tape at all, so it's a bit of guess and take the plunge.One niggle is that they say they're zero power when off, but whilst it's going to be very very small, a drain does exist, as you get a very dim light (only visible at night), YMMV but my house was rewired not so long ago so suspect the product.I've got white walls where mounted (along the ceiling line behind/above a curtain rod, not obvious during the day and the power can be set so high they light the curtain backing - potential for interesting exterior festive display ready to go all year round!

Amazing LEDs. Connects to alrxa very easily. Very good app software. Leds are very strong and bright. Has hardly any heat emitting from. Amazing light diffusion. Overall recommend. Best leds I've ever got.

This little light strip seems great for the price. I’ll be investing in some more for future projects and time will tell if they last like they claim. Easy to use and the length of cable is perfect. These will be used with our new staircase installation and were recommended by the fitter so he must get good feedback on the quality and durability. Also, the use with connecting to Alexa is perfect. Great little product.

The 5 Metres includes the wires you don’t get as much length as implied. The lights are overall great but i’m not that thrilled about the length.
