These pieces are lovely and very detailed. He not only uses them for chess, but also makes up adventure stories about them, and uses them in his “battles”. They are a little difficult to use by a traditional chess player as they are different characters rather than the traditional chess pieces, so a little more memory is required to play a traditional, chess game. However, he loved them!
