My old tap lasted five years, before it started dripping. It wasn't great before then anyway - even though it had been properly fitted by someone who knew what they were doing, it would move around and the tap body was stiff and felt like it would snap off at any minute. It had also rusted a little and the brushed nickel coating was peeling off too, so decided to get one which was simply stainless steel, which was cheaper, too.So this new one arrived. Really clear instructions (essential for someone like me who is a very amateur at DIY and certainly no plumber). The whole job took an hour, but that was because it took so long to remove the old tap, as I couldn't undo the old flexipipes to get it out, so eventually had to cut them. Once that was done, it really only took a few minutes to fit this new tap.It's sturdy, looks good, seems to be well made. The only slight criticism was that the hot tap part was a little loose, but fortunately I had the right tool to tighten that up. Only thing I would add that would have improved it would have been colour coded red and blue flexi hoses for hot and cold, but that's just me being picky, and the hoses supplied were good enough.Hopefully it will stand the test of time, but the previous tap was twice the price (and that was five years ago) and seemed pretty poor in comparison to this new 'Peppermint' one, from the outset.Would recommend without hesitation, and it was seriously cheap too, at only £31.49 when I bought it. I have seen similar taps for sale elsewhere which are far more expensive.

This tap comes with everything you need to fit to a standard outlet.The instructions are OK - but if you're tackling this yourself I guess you won't really need them.The tap is of a good solid construction, well made and all taps and movements are smooth and firm. Nothing feels sloppy or slack.It looks good, quite minimalist but a joy to operate and use.It comes with a tool for removing the old fitting and for fitting the new. Which is great because if you don't have one it can be virtually impossible to get the old tap off with spanners.The flexible couplings are well made but care should be taken not to kink them (they are quite long) and when tightening up they will try to wrap themselves up. If you do get a slight kink then you will lose most if not all flow. (speaking from experience)These flexi-couplings are hand tighten only into the tap itself. So don't overtighten, even if you can get a spanner in to the nuts. This is not explained in the instructions but have found this out by researching on-line a few years ago.I had this fitted in less than an hour and that's with having to start again with the kinked pipe.If your access is less restricted than mine then it can be done in much less time.A great tap that is easy to install and fit.

The media could not be loaded. Once I finally got the old tap off, tried to screw in the new tap with the hole at the back but the screw doesn’t grip so hole too big, there is another hole on bottom of taps at the front underneath which the screw did fit so had to use that one, this meant I had to move taps further towards the wall so the screw would go in straight, also meant the horse shoe shaped bracket used to tighten it in place, the open side is facing the wall instead of forward like the old tap. There’s also a black tool to help you tighten the bolt but the long screw will only go in so far then you have to do the final tightening yourself with spanner which is awkward. Tap looks good, sturdy, bubbler is louder than my old tap, tried to take the end off to put the bubbler in from the old tap but couldn’t get the end off, then discovered you can turn the end to get either a spray or bubbler, see video. Don’t know how you would get the end off to clean it, stronger pair of hands maybe. No adapters needed, fits uk standard size. Overall very pleased. Gave 4 star because of the two holes on bottom which made the taps not central over the hole in the sink like the old ones, but black rubber seal is still in a good place so water doesn’t leak through. Tails are quite long but managed to get them screwed on with no kinks. No leaks as yet.

Great price, appears well made and fitted in less an hour including drain down.Appears that you can replace the flow control cartridges.Looks nice, good flow.

Very pleased with our new kitchen tap. It has a good flow and was the perfect shape to replace our old tap when many of them had a wider arch and would have splashed all over the floor. Easily fitted by the plumber’s mate. Easy to clean. So far it still looks new. Lovely finish and seems well made. I’m very happy with it. Hope it lasts.

This tap is a well made, good quality tap. It’s quite a small tap in size so personally I would say more suitable for smaller kitchens or utility rooms. It has very good water pressure, mixer tap and functionality. I like the fact it has a hot and a cold handle much easier to mix water temperature. I would recommend this tap.

Tap appears to be really well made, looks good, and the levers are light and easy to operate. The aerator works well and the tap is easy to fit.My only gripe is that the water comes out at an angle and not vertical, which can mean that the water splashes out of the sink if you turn the water full on.
