With some combat life-saving skills and experience under my belt, I knew exactly what I was looking for, and this kit fit the bill perfectly.It comes with almost everything you’d need in case of an emergency—truly a must-have for any vehicle, because you never know when you might need it. I looked at hundreds of kits before choosing this one. It is very well organized, and is quite comprehensive and of high quality.My son, who took a wilderness fitst aid recently, in particular, was quite happy with it. He liked that I added extra triangular bandages and he will add some KT tape and may switch out a few other things, but we agree it's very good value. I also added a couple of hand warmers, a pack of hydrocolloid blister bandages, a burn gel pad and water purification tablets. I may be forgetting a few other minor things. I plan to add a permanent marker and perhaps a disposable thermometer. This is mostly based on advice of several emergency preparadness articles I read while looking for a good kit.I also will give them batteries for the flashlight (to be kept out until needed). And some more safety pins.The only thing that didn't impress me were the shears; they seemed flimsy. I didn't test them, since they also have a leatherman and a Swiss army knife.

I’m a NSP Ski Patroller with medical training. I bought this to carry in one of our cars— every vehicle needs a med kit because you can’t use it if you don’t have it with you.The good— the case is mid-sized and well organized with labels so you don’t have to dig or think too hard in a moment filled with pressure.The ok— the included supplies are all unbranded, mid-quality stuff. I’ll substitute better medical tape, trauma shears, add some bandaids, and put some baby aspirin, Tylenol, and sting relief in there. A positive is that this kit doesn’t have a lot of unnecessary stuff included to increase the number of items for advertising purposes— it’s well thought out.The bad— the same kit is sold for $5 less if you don’t get the version I bought “with tourniquet”. The kit did NOT include a tourniquet, which is a shame because it’s a simple device that can save lives when seconds count. I was mislead, and so three stars instead of four. I’ll be adding one myself.

Perfect building block for an all purpose kit. Going to add a cat 4 tourniquet and some chest seals and it'll ready for most anything!
