This is a great frame. Easy to assemble and take apart for storage. Clips are strong and hold the fabric well. If your fabric becomes loose, a slight twist of the clip will create tension. I used a hoop before this which worked fine. However, this gives a much larger working area and is easier to hold. I would recommend this frame and I would consider buying other sizes if necessary.

According to the advert and pictures, this frame is supposed to have ridges to grip the fabric, it does not have ridges on the clips, they're completely smooth. It would be worth paying the extra money to buy the original Q Clip frame or even an Elbesee wooden frame.

Item was well packaged, arrived next day though the time of delivery changed a couple of times but it was all good. Will definitely buy from this seller again.

I ordered this frame because I was tired of my thread getting caught around the screw area of my hoop, it seemed like the prefect solution.However, it is beyond hopeless. It does not have the ridges that are advertised and therefore the clips have absolutely no grip. They rotate around the frame as they wish with barely any touch and so, the work becomes loose and slips out within minutes.If you are like me and like nice, taught fabric to stitch on, this is absolutely not for you. If you like your fabric free-moving, then just hold it. This frame is not fit for purpose. A complete waste of money

Easy to put together great when not in use as it is easy to take apart and put in drawer.

It's a really decent size for beginners or if you want to make rug coasters, only down side is that it does loosen a little bit just have to keep tightening it, but it is brilliant if you want to get started with needle punching

This frame quality is good but I want to mention that this type of frames are suitable with thick fabric. Lite fabric slides from this get loose again and again. So choose wisely.

1. This frames clips have no ridges at all, the inside is smooth, that given it does still grip fairly well but the clips move to easily as you hold it loosening where you are holding.2. The corner pieces that join the tubes are wider than the tubes themselves and do not sit flush like the picture shows meaning your fabric gets districted as it goes over the corners stopping you from getting your fabric well remained in the frame. It also means the clips have the potential to nip the fabric against these corners damaging your fabric.
