Enjoyed for 70 years and my father before me. Smokey brown jars no longer available, but contents unchanged. Originally, it was branded Taylor's Newport Pagnell mustard as a nod to the North Bucks town where the recipe was first created and coincidentally my family seat!

This is one of the nicest mustards I’ve tried but equally one of the saltiest. I understand mustard is generally salty but for my tastes, this is a just a pinch too much. Apart from that, the flavour is excellent a packs a decent punch.

I love Mustard and find colmans a fairly warm mustard but find Taylor's a much more tastier and a lot more punch in the heat. Which is why I will always buy this brand.

Always had this oldest prepared mustard when growing up and, although switching to rival brands from time to time, am so pleased to be able to taste this again. Admittedly I prefer the old brown glass pot but as I still have one storing nutmegs at the moment I can decant contents from new to old. Have just purchased another two jars (06/07/2024).

Many thanks for the above, it arrived very soon after ordering well packed and in good condition. On tasting I thought it was much hotter than before and others were of the same opinion however I will get used to it . Fred.

I'm sure someone else in England must make another decent English mustard. But I haven't come across anything to compare with Taylor's. Colman's, for example, is a completely different beast. It has its adherents, I know. But it's not in the same league as Taylor's. I will keep trying to find another in Taylor's class. If that happy day comes, I'll still keep at least two jars of Taylor's in my cupboard.
