A little too sturdy and unfortunately I had to return as I only have tiny dogs. Would be great for a lab or spaniel I would think. My little puppas couldn't pull it as was rather heavy. I should probably have researched better. Definitely stopped them running off though.

Not too heavy for my border terrier. Doesn’t get tangled and easy to wipe/clean! I use it attached to a harness. Allows my nosey dog to explore and come back!

I found that dropping it on the floor and I just held the handle does mean that it gets dirty, but difficult to hold, tends to untangle fairly easily. Obviously on the floor the dog will drag it through everything so will need to be washed. Sturdy material and comfort handle. Great for training puppies or for sensory or dogs with poor recall.Good value for money, can get tangle up with the other dogs so be aware it's not an extendable lead that retracts. The only bad thing is only good for fields or areas where the path is fairly clear. Went to the forest and is tangled on the bushes.I found it easier to let him run free on open ground so he could run with the other dogs off the lead and he liked it too.

We have had this for almost 3 months now and have used it every day. For a border terrier under 6 months it has been great, gave our pooch lots of room to move about and explore! As he got older (6.5 months) though we have tied another lead to it to give Chester a bit more slack as he gained confidence and wanted to venture out a bit more.It has proven to be very sturdy, a great thickness and easy to clean. We are lucky to have a pup who doesn't chew on his leads! I know some people have mentioned it isn't good against puppy teeth, but we honestly have no complaints. We are considering getting a longer one, but for now our makeshift extention does the job!The storage bag is a nice idea, but in reality, it's just ended up forgotten under the passenger seat of our car!

It’s advertised as a training lead but use mine as an extended lead for the freedom of my pooch. It has good grip which is soft and easy to hold. It is well made and not easy for my dog to chew through.

Fairly well made. Good way to practice recall without running after that naughty dog.Ordered a 2nd one in black. Be aware that this is made of different material. It's not rubberised like the other colours and is let robust. It's also going to hold water.
