It is very easy to set up and use with the results given to me within 5 seconds. It came with everything that I need including batteries, 50 test strips and 50 lancets. The bonus was it included a log book in which to document the results all of which can be stored in its own protective wallet

This monitor has proved invaluable already.I actually bought this monitor for myself, but not because I am diabetic, but because as I am overweight, of certain age and have been feeling tired and light-headed and peeing a lot for a while and someone I know who is a diabetic suggested I get myself tested for diabetes just to eliminate any issues there. My wife has had no issues like me, but I suggested she may as well check hers too which she has. Turns out my levels were absolutely spot on, all normal, before and after eating and even after 14 hours of not eating. So that has really put my mind at rest and made me focus on other areas that need a bit of improvement. But we discovered in the process that my wife's blood sugars are actually a little high, which was a surprise to both of us. So we are going to monitor both for a while and use the included log book to record the results and if my wife's levels are persistently higher than expected she's agreed to book an appointment with a GP...well, she'll get to see one eventually no doubt. But she seems more inclined now to get more exercise and change her diet which is really good.We are very fortunate to have access to affordable monitors like this. And as we have a collapsing health service in the UK the more we are able to look after ourselves the better in my opinion. I am very pleased indeed with this purchase and can't recommend it enough for anyone that just wants peace of mind.The monitor comes with batteries, has a case that everything fits into (strips and lances and log book) and is small and not bulky so easy to carry around too.Edit...Meter now produces error code E-2 even with batch of new strips. Simply won't work any more. No idea how to fix it. Looks like it's dead in the water.

Great wee kit. So simple to use. Quick too, only 5 seconds.Complete with lancets, test strips.Gives good indication of blood sugar levels. Also has Ketone warning to help avoid DKA.Has an easily portable case to store the kit.

i am enjoying it so far so good, the reading is accurate and easy to use. came with the user manual which was very helpful. will recommend it to anyone. its portable and easy to store away.

This is a very neat simple to set up and easy to use blood glucose meter. The instruction are really easy to follow it only took minutes to set the date time and your own settings. The screen is very clear I have not had any errors it is nice and compact and all fits in a good quality case, I would think the battery life will be very good as it turns off when the test strip is removed.I would highly recommend this meter and the seller.

I am really pleased with this blood sugar monitor.really easy to set up, the instructions were straightforward. I have only been recently diagnosed with diabetes and I’m just starting to get used to checking my blood, this kit is great. It really easy to use and I would definitely recommend it. It’s also a great price. And was delivered the day after ordering.

The product comes with 50 lancets and 50 test straps. It has got a log book to record the readings, a quick guide and an instruction manual. It also comes with 2 batteries for the machine. And it's working perfectly fine.

After being diagnosed with type 2 diabetes in early April, and although technically I do not need to check my blood sugars as I am only one one type of medication, I wanted to see how meals and various other factors were affecting my blood sugar levels. This then helps make better choices both in diet and lifestyle. I purchased the GoChek 2 monitor based on the amount of positive reviews on this listing, it arrived the next day and I made sure I read the manual fully, this made it very easy to set up. I’m also impressed with the kit coming with 50 lancets and 50 test strips. It takes 5 seconds to give you a reading and has a large memory to store your results. All in all, I am happy with my purchase.
