vanilla has become very expensive last 5 years, when you see 3£ for 1 pod in high street. so wasn't expecting a lot from this order, surprised with this vanilla its fresh soft and very fragrant, i have ordered again,Due to the freshness i blend it with sugar and a tiny amount water to produce a syrup. blend the entire pod skin and all and place it in jar, if you don't have the mini blending machine use mortar pestle.

These are lovely - fresh and soft.I've chopped mine into small pieces and soaking in vodka to make my own vanilla extract.Smells delicious already !
