I weighed up several options and eventually picked this one. I already had a couple of 2ah 18v Bosch batteries and have since bought an additional 4ah ProCore, so I can now work continuously by always having one on charge. I also had tons of 125mm discs so it seemed wise to stay with that rather than go up to 150mm.One of the main things I like about this sander is the ergonomic grip and low center of gravity, my old sander was much taller and while it never bothered me I now realise how much more control I have with this one. It feels much more refined than previous sanders and being cordless has proved to be more useful than I expected, I'm now using it for little jobs all round the house which I would never have done with a corded sander.One downside is that it seems slightly underpowered when doing big jobs on hardwood, but I guess that's not really it's intended use and if I was doing lots of that I would need to own a heavier duty machine. Considering it's size and weight it does well and for most jobs it has plenty of power.The other gripe is there's no easy way to connect to a vacuum cleaner and Bosch aren't helpful on this matter. I bought a 'Bosch Professional connection piece (diameter 25-35, for all-purpose vacuum cleaners)' which fits my Festool mini vac perfectly but not the sander! I ended up buyings some some 25mm (internal) aquatic fexible tube on eBay (99p for 10cm, free shipping), which works a treat. It's a bit poor that Bosch don't provide connectors specifically for this sander, particularly as it has a lovely metal outlet with ridges that give a fantastic solid connection. The only thing supplied is a mini dust bag which is of limited use.Overall it's great tool and good bang-for-buck at £127.49 for the bare model with no plastic carry case. If you already have the batteries it makes a lot of sense, and if not then it's still worth putting on your shortlist mainly for the ergonomics and good reputation that Bosch have for reliabilty.PS: If you do buy this, or any other orbital sander, invest in a pad-saver for well under a tenner – it'll prevent damage and save you money in the long run.

I've used this sander a lot, but it still works great. What amazes me the most is its passive dust extraction even when you aren't connected to a shop vac, it's definitely best in class. I'd almost say it doesn’t miss a thing when you use it. I also enjoy the ergonomics of the sander. Many tool companies are now following suit, with Milwaukee releasing a similar sander years after Bosch made this one, showing how ahead they were in design. It has good run time and doesn’t lose much performance during long sessions.

The Bosch 18v Professional Range tools are excellent and this is no different. A cordless orbital sander that also extracts the dust. Various speeds to suit your needs and it almost feels weightless when switched on.

A random orbital sander has been a staple tool in my collection for a long time, wasn’t sure about an 18v version due to concerns about power and durability but I shouldn’t have worried. The tool is well balanced with a 2ah battery although it only lasts for around 20 minutes of trigger time. The 5ah battery lasts significantly longer, but it is a bit unbalanced.Vibration is relatively low and it’s easy to use for extended periods of time and dust extraction is surprisingly good with either the bag or a hoover attached. The variable speed controls are very good and give you a decent amount of control regardless of what you are working on. I would highly recommend this product, especially if you have other Bosch professional 18v tools in your tool bag.
4.0 out of 5 stars Great sander but battery removal is crazy stiff.
First of all, this product is an excellent orbital sander. Beautifully balanced if you don't use a heavy battery option and excellent dust extraction. However, as at least one other reviewer has noted, the battery is crazy tight in its plastic rails. To remove the battery you need to clench the tool between your knees and pull the battery of with both hands while keeping the release button depressed. On the plastic rail holding the battery in place there are two pairs of raised lugs to keep the battery firmly in place. Unfortunately they have been engineered a fraction too high which impairs an otherwise elegant product. It's not a game changer but Bosch should take note and fix the design moulds because it's NOT the same experience you get on other Pro 18V products. This is my sixth 18V Pro Product from Bosch and the only one with this problem.

Jestem zadowolonym posiadaczem wielu urządzeń Bosch Professional (niebieski) 18V oraz jednego "zielonego" urządzenia przewodowego, właśnie szlifierki oscylscyjnej, PEX 220A.Zakup GEX 18V-125 miał być wzmocnieniem, wejściem na wyższy poziom mocy i kolejnej bezprzewodowej wygody.Niestety okazało się że Niebieski GEX 18V-125 nie ma szans w porównaniu z Zielonym PEX 220A. Rozczarowanie jeśli chodzi o siłę, szybkość szlifowania, efekt pracy. GEX 18V-125 okazał być się śmieszną zabawką, nie robi nawet połowy tego co 3 x tańszy Zielony PEX 220A.Urządzenia zostawiam sobie, lubię mieć wygodne, bezprzewodowe narzędzia Bosch (!), jednak niestety GEX 18V-125 nie wykonuje spodziewanej pracy. Nie polecam jako podstawowe urządzenie szlifierskie. Polecam tylko takim "kolekcjonerom" jak ja, co lubią mieć sprzęt na stanie, pod ręką i nie będą odczuwać wydatku. Choć jeszcze raz podkreślam, ten sprzęt nie spełnia w ogóle oczekiwań szlifierskich, "nic" nie robi!

Sin duda, esta pulidora a batería Bosch cumple lo que promete. Es bastante ligera y potente. Tengo otras herramientas de esta marca y puedo intercambiar las baterías. Tiene una buena relación calidad precio. Sin duda la recomiendo.
Ponceuse Bosch pro sans fil au top
Très bonne ponceuse orbitale sans fil, le sac à poussière est un plus même si rien ne vaut un aspirateur que l'on peut raccorder à la place du sac. On est sur du Bosch pro, donc très bon matériel.
