Moka pot 1 cup. Eat your heart out Bialetti. This was better made than the recent Bialetti 2 cup which I had to return. Can recommend. Well constructed, tiny pot fitted on my gas hob okay, and came out with a lovely cupper. Thanks.

Bought this as i wanted a larger size and my bialetti one needed replacing after years of service.Immediately thought the metal felt cheap, it's also badly fabricated with unsmooth cuts. Ladel doesn't pour properly and spills coffee whenever i use it. To compound the bad design, it's really difficult to undo compared to other makes (i'm a physically strong male for reference).Today it was stuck shut after making coffee, and after trying for ages the handle ripped straight off product from the metal. I've never had anything like this happen in my life with kitchen equipment and I work in the food industry....

I am not a fan of this coffee maker, it`s a bit too flimsy. The spout where the coffee comes up from the base is too near the lid of the pot.I found that when the coffee is rising up the spout it was hitting the lid, which was forcing the lid to open and spitting coffee all over my cooker hobThe lid is very light and does not truly sit flush on the pot itself.

I give it two stars because it makes reasonable coffee and is cheap. However, there are several issues with this Moka pot: The pouring spout dribbles and makes a mess on the counter, and there is also some leakage at the seal. The handle is extremely thin and fragile, and mine came without instructions and a battered box.
