So, these XBox controllers. They apparently have a Bluetooth bug that stops them from working properly with the majority of devices. Only the XBox works with them flawlessly, as it's permissive to their strangenesses.I tried to connect it to my Linux laptop, but I got the same problem that I got with a pair of headphones that have a bluetooth bug in the connect phase. The headphones are supposed to advertise some information, such as audio profiles, but they don't, and the laptop just boots them off, and they try to reconnect... rinse repeat.The same thing was happening with this controller. It was trying to connect, would be recognised by Steam, but nothing would work, and I'd find that the controller had lost connection and been kicked off a few seconds after it had connected.It seems that the controller has a bug, which M$ know about, because if you download the XBox firmware updater app when the controller's connected to a windows PC, the app immediately spots there's an issue and installs a later firmware.As soon as you try to connect the controller after the update, it works perfectly.But if, like me, you don't have a spare windows machine lying around, you'll need to beg/borrow/steal a Windows PC to load up the software to update the firmware. IT doesn't run under Wine / Oracle VMBox properly, sadly.Once the controller is patched and connected, it's great (for a controller). Don't get me wrong, I think using controllers is awful in the majority of games. Give me Kbd + Mouse any day for anything other than a simple racing game. But, for a controller, this one is pretty neat.The electric volt colour was my boy's idea. He really liked the green, so asked for that one. It does look nice, but slightly out of place with all his blue LEDs. Nice brushed finish to the texture, though.A pretty good controller, but they need to start shipping patched units!

Ich hatte schon einige Controller in der Hand, aber dieser hier hat sich direkt zum Favoriten gemausert. Der Electric Volt ist nicht nur optisch ein echter Hingucker – die Farbe knallt genau richtig, ohne billig zu wirken – sondern überzeugt auch durch Ergonomie und Verarbeitungsqualität.Liegt super in der Hand, alle Tasten haben einen klaren Druckpunkt, und nichts wackelt oder knarzt. Das Ding fühlt sich einfach richtig an – und das dauerhaft, auch nach längeren Sessions. Und das Beste: Auch unter Linux (getestet mit Fedora, Ubuntu & Mint) läuft er absolut reibungslos – keine Frickelei, kein Treiberzirkus, einfach koppeln und loszocken.Ja, er ist vielleicht nicht der günstigste Controller – aber dafür bekommt man Qualität, auf die man sich verlassen kann. Und mal ehrlich: Bei so einem Teil greift man eh öfter zur Konsole... oder zum Steamdeck... oder zur nächsten LAN-Party. 😄Fazit: Klare Empfehlung – stylisch, solide, zuverlässig. Genau so muss ein Controller sein.

Joystick molto compatto e resistente, i tasti non fanno alcun rumore e io lo sto utilizzando con il PC e vi devo dire che risponde bene ai comandi non si é mai scollegato, ho avuto dei ritardi nei movimenti, l'unica pecca é che rispetto al vecchio modello i grilletti sono duri ma se non sei un pro player e ti vuoi divertire fa al caso tuo
