I bought this to help develop my form and strength for archery when I am not actually allowed to shoot. The adjustability of the trainer is great, allowing me to increase the resistance as required. When I had a shoulder injury, this helped to redevelop strength and form without foing further damage. I like the spirit level on top of the grip as I had problems maintaining keeping the bow vertical.Overall a good archery training aid.

I can see the merit of using this to improve your release but when the elastic snaps it catches the back of your hand. After a few releases it gets rather painful

The normal workout band is much more practical to use than this. This is very painful and completely changes my posture. My instructor told me to use the exercise band instead.
Für Kinder und alle mit wenig Zugkraft (12 bis ~24lbs) ideal
Solch eine Ausführung wollten wir bereits bei einem bekannteren Onlineshop für Bogensport Zubehör bestellen, doch da kostete das Ganze und 5 mal soviel. Daher hatten wir uns für eine U mit Griff entschieden, wo es verschiedene Strechtbänder mit dazu gab. Das Gute bei dem Gerät war, dass man nicht nur das Ausziehen üben konnte, sondern auch das Lösen. Das geht mit diesem vom Elong nicht, da hier das Gummi nicht aufgefangen wird und so Verletzungsgefahr besteht. Trotzdem ist das Elong genial, gerade bei dem Preis.Mit dem von Elon kann man neben dem Ausziehen und Halten auch das Gewicht des Bogens simulieren. Dazu gibt es ein Strechtband mit Schlaufe, die Stärke kann man über die Länge anpassen. Das Gleiche gilt auch für die "Sehne" über die Länge wird die Kraft eingestellt, die man aufwenden muss.Unser Sohn ist nach einem Jahr von 14 auf 16Lbs gewechselt und irgendwie fiel ihm der Wechsel sehr schwer. Er hat schon immer vor dem Klicker losgelassen und egal wie weit wir den Klicker immer wieder vorgeschoben haben, beim nächsten Pfeil ging dieser noch früher los. Da fehlte es deutlich an Kraft, obwohl der Wechsel von 14 zu 16Lbs nun nicht gerade übertrieben ist. Da haben wir die letzten vier Wochen mit dem Elong trainiert und siehe da jetzt geht es perfekt.Die Trainingshilfe von Elong kann man links und rechts benutzten und so gleichmäßig trainieren.Der Handgriff wirkt zwar billig aber dafür ist das Gerät eben sehr günstig. Sollte es kaputt gehen kaufe ich es noch zwei drei mal nach und es kostet mich dann immer noch weniger als das fast gleiche Gerät bei dem anderen Onlineshop.
