OK, it’s not Apple quality but it’s not Apple money, for £29.99 it’s well made and excellent value. Firstly, it looks great with a retro/modern design and is small enough to fit perfectly on a bedside table without taking up too much space. The sound quality is good, it doesn’t boom with bass, you would need a standalone Bluetooth speaker for that, but as a background radio it’s excellent. It has great features including DAB + and FM and doubles as a Bluetooth speaker if you want to stream Spotify or anything else from your phone, plus a micro SD and USB. The big plus that makes it stand out from other radios at a similar price point is a rechargeable lithium battery. It really does have it all. I don’t understand why other reviewers had issues setting preset stations, it’s very straightforward forward if you follow the instructions. Only criticism is that the volume doesn’t always move gradually up the scale making it either quiet or louder but at this price point it’s a minor issue. Overall a great little purchase.

This to my eyes looks terrific plus the sound is both dynamic and punchy. The screen is easy to see and read and delivers lots of information...name of radio station/artist etc.It runs on both mains using the supplied power supply unit which also charges the inbuilt battery which will run for about 12 hours on a charge. You can set up to 40 preset radio staions, I believe it can store 20 DAB and 20 FM.It also features DAB+ which is necessary these days as quite a lot of the radio stations have shifted from DAB to DAB+ and some new stations are only on DAB+. The inclusion of FM is also really useful if you happen to be in an area where DAB isn't that strong.There is a dual alarm which is also a nice feature and well worth having. This radio does many things and it does them well...it will accept a USB stick to play MP3 tracks as well as a micro SD card to do the same. I reckon I must have over a day's worth of music on mine! You can even play the music from your phone through it by using Bluetooth.Then if you feel like listening in private you can plug a pair of headphones into it and listen in great stereo sound.So all in all this radio does so many things, it doesn't take up much space, it's available in two colour finishes and the cost of it won't break the bank! It really is a great little radio!

Bought this as one of few that also has SD card and USB inputs. Looks nice and buttons feel good. DAB works well, nice to have 40 presets. Bluetooth works well though volume needs to be turned up to max (with phone volume turned up). SD card input disappointing. Tracks are just loaded as numbers, no ability to select album/artist/song by name. Can only play in the order that Roxel stores them in (not sure how it determines this as its not alphabetical) and skip to next track. Also each time you switch to SD it takes a minute for it to load (if 28GB used) all the tracks before it will play. Also it won't let you select another source via the mode button once loading has started !

This radio is currently used as a bedroom radio. I chose to buy this product after a lot of research on the internet and reading of reviews. I believe it has been on sale for a comparatively short time , which is reflected in not being supported by numerous reviews.However, I decided to buy and after a few weeks use, I do not regret my decicions. The radio is a portable size and easy to carry but has a weight which points to having decent solid loudspeakers and is important to the sound. The radio is able to play at a loud volume without noticable distortion and the quality of sound is not "tinny" with an even spread of frequencies, but of course the bass is limited from the small speakers. This is a nice sound and I love it.The radio has two alarms along with sleep and snooze settings. Powering the radio and switching on for the first time means it will automatically store the stations and set the current time on DAB. This radio will also play FM and accept USB and/or mini SD card for Mp3 play. Within the menu there is access to an equaliser to tweak the sound for personal choice. The internal battery is rechargeable and during use at reasonable volume it has managed around 15 hours use. I can recommend this radio as it has useful extras not in other radios at the price and has excellent sound quality for a small radio.

Bought this to sit beside my bed because I was fed up being woken by harsh alarms. It is compact, looks great and doesn’t take up much space.I plugged it in and it found all DAB stations. It is fairly easy to set alarm etc and has nice sound. It is so nice now waking up to Smooth music station

My first impression of this radio was really positive - it has a surprising weight and quality feel for such a small device. Unfortunately, that's where the good experience stopped.The radio worked fine for about an hour with good sound quality and strong DAB signal, but when I tried to use it again, the screen completely stopped working. Since you need the screen to navigate menus and use most functions, this basically made the radio useless.I contacted both the seller and manufacturer for help, but initially got no response from either. After following up, the seller finally offered a refund and return. Sadly, this just means the broken unit will end up as electronic waste instead of being fixed - not exactly great for the environment. With a bit of research I found that this is just a white label radio from Aliexpress (M60) and can be purchased direct from the real manufacturer for around £8!I replaced with a slightly more expensive unit from a real brand (Sony) and have been much happier with that, so I would suggest spending just a tiny bit more for something with some actual quality control!

Has ok stereo sound even in radio mode but fm reception is not as strong as I would like and the battery doesn't last very long, good build quality for the price 👍
