Cedol wood preserver is a very high-quality Cedar cladding, decking and fencing oil which penetrates deeply into timber surfaces, providing protection to timber against extreme weather conditions and UV fading. The product is manufactured using highly pure, crystal clear base stocks, which are odourless, non-toxic and environmentally acceptable. The product penetrates deep into timber to provide a clear ‘wet look’ finish, offering protection against dirt, algae and fungi, prolonging timber life by eliminating cracking, splitting and discolouring. Cedol wood preserver is suitable for use on timbers such as Cedar; Pine and Larch amongst others. The product can be applied either by brush, spraying or dipping and is generally a one coat treatment, depending on the age and condition of the timber to be treated. Re-application is recommended every 3-4 years.

Application with a brush and roller is so easy, it covers really well. I have acacia decking and didn't really want to change the colour too much or have too much of a sheen on the surface. If you need a product that does this then this is it. Rain wasn't forecast in our area but it did rain overnight and the photo shows the results. The rainwater has just beaded on the surface and not penetrated into the wood so so far so good. The second photo is the deck after I applied the product, no horrible glossy shine that's going to blind us in the summer and only a very slightly darkening in the original colour of the wood stain.Couldn't be happier with the results.

Pricey but you’ll save money and cleaning time in the long run. A couple of coats instantly adds a noticeable protection and seems to toughen and harden the decking, which is no small feat with the neglected, and in places, dog eared decking we got with the property. Definitely repels water and has so far been really effective at preventing slippery and damaging green algae build up. It’s the first product we’ve used that has worked this well, will definitely use again. Low odour and easy to apply too.
