We started getting these 2kg bags when they were under £3, so they were amazing value for money.They are nice tasting dates and seem to be good quality and easy to eat (much too easy).We love chopping a few up and chucking them in our muesli, or even making date bread, which is lovely.Sadly, the price seems to hover between £5-6 lately, so not as good value as they were, but maybe still worth the money.Personally, I'll be waiting for the price to drop again.

I'm a huge fan of dates and like to keep stock of several grades in my pantry. These are the most basic date ideal for desserts and sweets and recipes where they will be used in bulk.They are pretty good I would say, surprisingly so and of a higher quality than comparable from wholefood sellers online and the supermarket. They are darker with a more complex taste than the typical brown sayer dates and not dry or flaky at all. Hints of treacle or molasses.Surprisingly delicious and just about moist enough to eat as a snack. Five stars for the price and great to be able to buy in bulk. I S&S 2kg per month
