This primer does a great job at controlling shine throughout the day. My makeup stayed matte and fresh for hours even in humid conditions. It goes on smoothly and doesn’t feel heavy. A small con is the size — I wish there was a bigger option for the price.

This product is soooo good!! I've suffered for a while with my makeup creasing and causing unsightly lines above my lips and on my chin etc, and I also can suffer with dry skin as well. I decided to try this primer and it is amazing, my makeup lasts so much longer, and it doesn't start to separate into my lines until after I've had my makeup on for 6-8hrs + which is a win for me! I also don't find that it makes my skin dry at all, infact it makes it look really super smooth. I've tried other silicone textured primers that just pill or make me look dry, this one doesn't do either! Highly recommend you buy it.

At first I loved it, it smears so easily I loved the consistency, the products you put on top apply so nicely! It gives you a nice glow and is long lasting however I wouldn’t recommend it for everyday use. After using it for maybe 1-2 weeks straight I noticed a lot of break out and I normally have extremely clear skin. I kept using it for a long period of time cause I thought maybe it was another product I recently started using but every time some spots disappeared new ones came out. They only went away when I stopped using it for a week… I could recommend it if you are just applying it for like a special event situation but at least personally for me it doesn’t work for a day-to-day look unfortunately.

I actually didn’t discover this primer until a few years ago.Tried it and fell in love with it.It smells beautiful and applies lovely.I wasn’t sure that it would pair well with my other favourite products with it turned out to be the best combo ever.Cerave moisturiser, the honey dew me up primer over the top, then the Milani conceal & perfect foundation in 00BB.I love the texture of this primer is goes on really nice it’s quite thick. Easy to spread out but as it’s drying down it has a tackiness to it which really helps the foundation stick to it and it’s lasts all day and night.I also use the tarte highlighter in the shade moonlit I believe all over my face and it gives such a youthful glow.

This little NYX gel primer went far beyond expectations, the little spatula makes application super easy, and the second it goes on it refreshes, plumps and illuminates my skin INSTANTLY, yet still letting pores breath so without feeling tight or uncomfortable…I have very dry skin so I use a hyaluronic light primer first and then I apply this miracle gel, then BB tinted cream or foundation, and the illuminating effect comes through, keeping skin looking firm and bright for 12 hours…not super cheap but worth every penny for me. The best I’ve ever tried and will buy again. Also the ingredients are mostly natural, which is extremely RARE these days, even in products marketed as such (and then at closer inspection the percentage of natural extracts reveals shamefully laughable, and borderline illegal I suspect haha). I enthusiastically recommend this - and if someone like myself who admittedly hardly EVER writes reviews beyond the star ratings felt compelled to share, then it must be truly a mega rad product lol…!

Game changer for sweaty faces in humid climates
My Reasons for Trying This PrimerI live in the tropical region and am a face sweater. My upper lip in particular sweats a ton, and makeup in that area always comes off nearly as soon as I put it on, leaving a lighter area above my lip compared to the rest of my face. This was my primary reason for trying this product. My secondary reason is that my days are full: I may go to work early in the morning and then attend events/outings in the evening/night, and I appreciate my makeup staying pristine all day without retouching. I also sometimes have to travel in vehicles without air conditioning and regularly attend events outdoors/without air conditioning. I chose this particular product because the ingredients are fungal acne safe, because it's mattifying, and because of its great reviews.MethodThe primer comes out of the tube as a jelly-like semi-solid. Rub it quickly between your fingers and it will turn into a more malleable, tacky liquid. Apply to the desired areas. It will feel tacky during application, and then dries down to be undetectable. Apply any products desired on top.My FindingsI'm blown away. My upper lip makeup does not budge anymore. I went to the beach twice wearing foundation, and my makeup did not move (I kept my head above the water while swimming). It is mattifying without being at all drying. I find this primer to be reliable, and I definitely recommend for others to try. :) It's now a staple in my daily routine. I apply it to my upper lip normally (and maybe my lower cheeks where my foundation tends to lift); and if I have a long day ahead of me, I apply it more generally to my face and am always grateful for its effectiveness at the end of the day .

Lo que más me gusta es que es hidratante y hace que el maquillaje se vea muy bien.Si andas en la onda del "clean girl look" este primer te va a ayudar bastante.Tiene fragancia, la cual es ligera y rica pero sé que algunas personas esto les molesta, así que considéralo.Esta es la segunda o tercera vez que lo compro y me gusta mucho, dudo cambiar de primer en un buen tiempo.Como tip, si buscas algo que te ayude a disimular los poros Nyx tiene un primer que es buenísimo, lo uso arriba de este y me da el efecto perfecto que busco sin hacerse bolitas.Otro punto a favor es que lo uso por encima de una rutina de cuidado de la piel bastante extensiva y no se hace bolitas o se ve mal.
