I initially bought one a couple of years back which broke, just stopped working one day.I didn't realise at the time you got warranty through the manufacturer so I left it until it got colder again and bought a new one in September this year ready for the colder months. Only started using it properly a few weeks ago and the same thing happened as my first one, just stopped turning on.Contracted the manufacturer via Bolo (email them rather than using the form on the website and you will get a pretty quick response). Can't fault their customer service as they had a new replacement connector/remote out the next day. Arrived Friday however and the new part has now too stopped working which leads me to think they are just faulty in general, especially after reading other reviews on here.Personally will not bother getting another one and will pay that but extra for one of the more reputable brands.

My last heated blanket stopped working after about a 8-9 years so it was time to buy another.Unfortunately the place I bought my original one (Morrisons) doesn't seem to sell them anymore so I tried to find one that looked identical to the one I would be replacing.first thing I notice that was different is that my original one had two controls one for the left side and one for the right side which does mean you need two plugs but also means you can choose to heat just one side of the bed.This one only has one control so the entire bed will get warm which if you have a partner who doesn't want to get warm maybe an issue.My last one heated up in around 4-5 minutes I mean it was toastie almost like a hot bath.This one I put on went down stairs did a fee things came back up and wasn't sure if it was on and this was on the highest setting.I came back another 10 minutes later and it was warm-ish but it didn't get hot like my outgoing one.To summarise I will keep it simply because I cannot be bothered to return it, but I will be replacing it with another brand and will put this one on the bed in the spear room.My advice would probably be to pay a bit extra and get a different brand.It works and it does get warm but it takes its time getting there and the one controller for a king size bed means if you share your bed you may find you arguing over the temperature.
