Being constructed of stainless steel, our hot beverages taste much better than they did from our previous plastic kettle. I also very like the onboard wire mesh scale filter which is much more durable than other cheaper fabric filters. As a bonus it also looks great in our kitchen and compliments the other appliances around it so overall I would recommend this kettle.

Just as described, good quality, bought to replace a previous stainless steel kettle. I like the design feature of a polished band around the base contrasting with the brushed steel body. It works well and boils quickly but is very loud. The handle, lid and control are ergonomic and feel like they could last.

Necessary to switch it off if anyone wants to speak to you.I thought all metal kettles were as noisy as this until I tried the Tower pyramid kettle, which is much quieter.But this red kettle looks nice and is easy to fill, easy to lift, pours well .. I like it - apart from the noise.The button at the top of the handle to pop open the lid is a valuable feature - one hand works the kettle while the other turns the tap. No problem refilling a hot kettle because the hand is never above the hole at the top.

Stainless steel, lovely pour, flip lid, first boil sounded like a rocket, it’s a rapid boil, but noisy, not heavy to lift, only wish the level indicator was luminated. Bad after boiling the outside of kettle is red hot, burning, hotter than a plastic kettle.

This is one simple but very beautifully designed kettle. The cream paint layer is glossy not mat. The bottom silver metal part also glossy which is not visible on the Bolo photos. It suits ideally my vintage looking microwave. Boils quickly, the noise is average. I have ordered 3 kettles before even the more expensive ones that I have returned. Yes, I know I'm very picky, sorry. But this one won the competition at every criteria. Nothing is 100% perfect so one tiny thing. The kettle seemed a little bit wobbly on the beginning but when filled with water the impression's gone and stopped bothering me. I am very pleased with this purchase. Morphy Richards brand still doesn't disappoint.

Quieter than my previous Russel Hobbs kettle (that is advertised for being quiet). Very positive switch to turn on, which was an issue with my previous kettle that eventually failed. Seems well constructed. Smooth lid opening and no steam leaks, only through the spout. Light weight and pours well without a single drip. No plastic taint or taste to boiled water. I will leave an update if there are any issues, if there's no update then the kettle is still working as it should.

Well, it boils water, but I am frankly disappointed with its other qualities.Is it quick? Quick enough.Is it quiet? Most definitely not! It is really loud at first but does quieten down a little as the water heats up.Is the water level easily visible? No, I would say not.Does it look good? It is a design classic and hasn't changed in years - the kettle it replaces is almost identical.

Good Product, But Poor Packaging
I recently purchased the Morphy Richards Equip Electric Kettle and while the product itself works well, the overall buying experience was disappointing.The kettle performs as expected—heats water quickly and looks sleek. Design-wise, it’s pretty decent and does the job. However, I did notice a few issues:It makes a bit more noise than I anticipated.When pouring water from my filter jug, the 70° lid opening makes it slightly inconvenient.The jug had minor scratches and stains right out of the box, which was surprising for a new item.What really bothered me was the packaging. The product came only in the Morphy Richards box without the usual Bolo outer box. It looked like it had already been opened, and the whole package seemed poorly handled. This gave a bad first impression.Overall, the kettle is good for everyday use, but I hope Bolo ensures better shipping practices and quality checks in the future.
