Its an excellent item , which I 100% recommend. I thought I would wait a number of months before writing a review.Its important to select the correct version. I found the item easy to install and and I did not require to connect the aux audio connections for full functionality. The additional functionality it provides to the vehicle is excellent and the audio quality is as expected.Everything integrates with the idrive and steering wheel controls without issue.I note some other reviewers complain of it not connecting , occasionally i have experienced it not connecting, but this is not the fault of the unit, simply closing any excess apps on your iPhone (swiping the app up) resolves this , it seems some apps running on your phone in the background prevent the iphone from opening car play on occasions. You also must have bluetooth, and wifi running !!Everything works very well for example GPS navigaiton apps , whilst streaming internet radio.It seems a little pricey for a black box but its totally worth it.This is one of the best things i have ever bought a solid 10/10 from me.

I installed it successfully, it worked. Only had it for 2 months and now it’s no longer working! My phone stopped connecting to it and it cannot find the Wi-Fi or the Bluetooth anymore. It either has a black screen or the CarPlay picture

The first unit I received did have a problem but the product support in China did there best to sort it. Emails were answered in less that 24 hours so no complaints there. Ultimately the duff unit was returned to Bolo and a new one purchased.This one is working flawlessly and I'm very pleased with it. A couple of installation comments that may be useful.The space under the head unit is not really big enough to accommodate the Carplay. The easiest place to put it is to the side of the glove box. There are videos on line to tell you how to do this. A bit of a fiddle to gain access and takes about an hour first time. The second time was half that.It also gives the bonus of mounting the aerial away from any metal and to thread the spare USB into the glove box.I would also recommend removing the last 15cm of braiding from the BMW harness to the main plug as the plugs can then drop down a bit making replacing of the head unit much easier.Allocate one of your car radio pre-sets to to the Aux input as it is then quick and super easy to get the phone music and Waze coming from your speakersConclusions - After sales if needed is good. The unit works flawlessly.

Everything works as described, easy to install was literally plug in and play.It has disconnected a few times while driving though, not sure why but had happened maybe 5 times in the last 2 months, only time will tell if this is a common thing

The quality of all the hardware is brilliant, way better than I expected. If anything it’s better quality than the BMW cables and fittings!The over all installation is super simple. You’re just fitting this box in between the standard head unit and screen.It works very similar to plugging a DVD player into your tv and switching the input. I was worried about spending so much money on an aftermarket upgrade but it honestly is worth it.It worked instantly and I have a 2013 1 series and the standard Mic worked straight out the box. I didn’t even need to plug the aux in as stated in the instructions so the Audio plays in top quality.I’ve had a few issues with the wireless CarPlay but that’s down to my phone and not the unit I believe.If you’re thinking about buying this, do it!

Connected to F32 BMW.Here's the PROS:1) Installation was like a piece of cake. So straightforward.2) Steering wheel functions all work3) When device choses to work all is on point.And the CONS (Problems)1) I have to disconnect then reconnect Bluetooth every time I start the car.2) The screen sharing/mirroring feature doesn't seem to and has never worked3) Looses Bluetooth connections sometimes during drives4) Incoming calls:a) Sometimes calls work fine thru Bluetoothb) Sometimes Bluetooth won't connect and I have to revert to using the loud speaker on the phonec) Sometimes the "answer/cancel" button doesn't appear when phone rings..Having to constantly reconnect Bluetooth during drives can be both mentally and physically challenging enspecially when it's illegal to actually touch you phone when in motion...I will not be recommending, and will be asking for a refund!!PS:Any change/progress will be updated.

This does give you Apple car play.HOWEVER the customer support is none existent, the link that Bolo supplies to Road Top is an expired link and their support chat doesn’t reply. So good luck if you need any help.The audio settings reset every time you get in the car, so you have to spend a few minutes changing everything, basically making the whole point of using car play (plug and play) even slower than normal. Also the standard settings for the audio and EQ are AWFUL, so you have to spend the time changing them to make it sound normal.For over £200 it’s a let down, and I’m a day away from uninstalling it and sending it back.

It took some time to get installed. First forgot to install the microphone and later i noticed my vehicle information was gone from the menu. After contacting support it seemed i needed to reroute the optical cable. The support is really fast once you know how to reach them. Excellent support with spot on troubleshooting. With the modern Carplay installed and integrated with the exisiting screen, no need for me to buy a new car now ;)

Installé sur une BMW F30 de 2012, le résultat est mieux que je ne le pensais.Installation un peut compliquée dans mon cas, il a fallu démonter la boite à gant pour loger le module sur le coté du poste d'origine double DIN avec le faisceau fourni, car pas de place ailleurs.Bien suivre les instructions de paramétrage de la notice après installation. La connection Bluetooth fonctionne bien pour le son et les appels téléphonique.

Genial, el producto es tal cual describe, he buscado este producto en todos lados y he visto muchos mas baratos, en aliexpres, pero no me fio de esa app! Bolo hasta hoy no me ha decepcionado y he pagado el doble que en otra app por un producto igual.Yo suelo leer las reseñas y este producto no tenía por eso dejo la mía, para que a futuros compradores le valga!Es un producto 10 perfecto

The media could not be loaded. Alles hat einwandfrei funktioniert – ohne Verzögerungen oder Abstürze. Es war das erste Mal, dass ich ein solches Gerät selbst zusammengebaut habe, und der gesamte Vorgang dauerte etwa eine Stunde. Die Anleitung war klar und einfach zu befolgen. Ich kann dieses Produkt mit gutem Gewissen weiterempfehlen.
