What a load of garbage. So poorly made that you can't even set the traps. I'm no slouch when it comes to fixing things and I wofked with similar in the "old days," but I have more respect for my fingers so stopped trying after 10 minutes. Not worth the cost of returning and have ordered different ones.

The SOL 8pk Wooden Mouse Traps are a solid choice for indoor rodent control. They’re sturdy, durable, and reusable, which makes them great value for the price. I found that they work well once set up properly—although it took a little trial and error to find the right bait and placement. Once they were in the right spots, they were highly effective, quickly snapping shut when triggered. They are a bit more manual than some modern traps, but they get the job done reliably. Overall, I’m satisfied with the results, just be prepared to have some patience when setting them up.

Cheap and not entirely cheerful. They do kill the mouse. Only reusable if you want to clean mouse insides off them (so I would only set on hard flooring you can clean) - cheap enough to throw away though!Setting them requires significant finger strength and dexterity, its so difficult as they are super sensitive. The prong needs adjusted to be able to set it but then it is less sensitive - as in a mouse ate the food without getting caught.

Cheapest on Amzon but the traditional mouse/rat catchers - unless youre a Trad mole/ratcatcher from Norfolk lol...... Better than the plastic ones that are twice the price.... where they invariably dont even set out of the box..... or work once..... GET THESE as they work!

If I could give zero stars, I would. The metal bar that you hook in to the end of the mousetrap is too short. It won't hold. It doesn't work. Threw them away. Buyer beware.
