There were no instructions with the WiFi adapter.You can use Windows File explorer to select the 'CD' drive [in Explorer's left-hand pane] then copy the file WifiAutoInstallSetup.exe from the 'CD' drive to somewhere convenient and then run it. This 'CD' drive is referred to as a "virtual drive".- I had to go hunting for the installation file.- It did not run automatically.- Actually, I thought the ability for files to run automatically from connected devices was something that had been removed from Windows years ago to avoid helping malware to spread.- Contrary to the statements on the product page, the installation file is not on "a mini CD (included)" & the device is not "Driver Free". [The installation file identifies the hardware to Windows as a RealTek-like device and the drivers Windows loads are MS drivers.]Once I'd run that installation file I was able to- See both the Bluetooth & the WiFi adapters in Windows Device manager, and- Pair then connect to my Bluetooth mouse & my Bluetooth headphones, and- See & connect to my 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac [2.4GHz & 5.8GHz] WiFi networks.I have been using it for a couple of hours now without any problems being seen.My main testing has been on a Windows 10 x64 computer but I have also connected it to a Windows 11 computer on which I was able to install it then set it up to connect to my main WiFi networks.My main local WiFi networks are 5.8GHz and I once had a network card described as for "5GHz" that could not see 5.8GHz. So I now only choose ones, like this, that specify 5.8GHz capability.My Windows 10 computer's own internal WiFi card is not working and I wanted a cheap, rapid & easy solution while I ponder fixing the internal cabling defect that caused the problem.This USB WiFi-BT adapter has now proved to be the cheap, rapid & easy solution I wanted.Shame about the absence of instructions that could have walked me through its setup.

Keeps disconnecting, product occasionally lights up but my laptop and desktop can neither recognise the device or install its drivers. Cheap product, you get what you pay for really but I at least expect it to somewhat work. Avoid buying this and go for a more reputable brand.
