The easy to use dials (turn to the time you want, i.e. 20 minutes) 'ping' loud enough to let you know when the cooking is finished. This is great if you want to do something else whilst cooking. This is also an aid for portion control (easily cooks enough for two people if you are cooking suasage and chips for example. I mainly use for fishfingers, which cook to perfection in 20 minutes. Par boiling potatoes before use is helpful for a better finish (and supposedly healthier for you). I love it.

I recently purchased the Midea Vertical Dual Drawer Air Fryer and have been very impressed with its performance. I'm not one for writing reviews but I have to recommend this air fryer to a gone thinking about downsizing from the usual 4l ones.This is perfect. Clearly well made from quality materials, well designed and looks very smart on any worktop.Easy to use, without the stupid digital programs that no one uses.Mine is being used in my tent and is perfect for solo our couple use.The shape of the basket has been squared off so good for dropping a ready meal in.Another big plus is the basket design. It has a griddle style base plus a griddle style rack which importantly does not fall out when you tip your basket of chips onto your plate! That's six stars!

This little airfryer is perfect for a small kitchen, or one or two people. It is easy to use and I like the retro look. I have only had it a couple of weeks and so far have used it for re-heating left-overs, jacket potatoes and roasting vegetables. I am now eating more jacket potatoes as they turn out so well - crispy on the outside and soft inside and it avoids cooking one jacket potato in the oven, which saves money.

„Die Midea MF-CN55A2 Heißluftfritteuse ist einfach fantastisch! Mit ihrem großen Fassungsvermögen von 5,5 Litern ist sie ideal für Familien oder wenn man Gäste hat – ich kann problemlos eine große Menge Pommes oder sogar ein ganzes Hähnchen zubereiten. Die Bedienung ist super einfach, dank des übersichtlichen digitalen Displays und der voreingestellten Programme für verschiedene Gerichte.Die Ergebnisse sind immer perfekt: knusprige Pommes, saftiges Fleisch und auch Gemüse wird wunderbar gegart. Was ich besonders schätze, ist die fettarme Zubereitung – ich bekomme den Geschmack und die Knusprigkeit wie in einer Fritteuse, aber ohne das schlechte Gewissen. Die Reinigung geht auch leicht von der Hand, da der Korb spülmaschinengeeignet ist.Für alle, die eine zuverlässige und leistungsstarke Heißluftfritteuse suchen, ist die Midea MF-CN55A2 eine absolute Kaufempfehlung!“

Leistung, die nicht überzeugt

Gut finde ich erst einmal, dass der Frittierkorb herausnehmbar ist, bei vielen HLF ist es nur noch ein Sieb, was die Entnahme von größerem Frittiergut echt schwierig macht. Gut ist auch, dass man immer die Temperatur und Zeit nach eigenem Gusto einstellen kann.Nicht so gut: es gibt viele voreinstellbare Programme, die aber alle das Gleiche machen und sich nur in punkto voreingestellter Temperatur und Dauer unterscheiden.Was ich zuvor hatte: eine alte HLF mit Drehschalter für Temperatur und Minuten. Da leg ich z.B. 2 Bratwürste rein, stelle auf 7 minuten bei 185°C und heraus kommen 2 rundum gebräunte, appetitlich aussehende Würste.jetzt läuft das ganze folgendermaßen ab: 2 Würste 7 Minuten bei 185°C: nach 4 Minuten geht das Gepiepse los zum Wenden. Genervt wende ich also das Ganze und warte auf den Schlussakkord. heraus kommen 2 blasse Würste, die nochmal für 10 Minuten rein müssen.Also ganz sicher ist: die Heissluft von unten existiert nicht, weshalb auch nur eine Bräunung an der Oberseite erfolgt. Auch ist die Leistung insgesamt deutlich geringer, als bei meinem alten Gerät, obwohl das eine um 200W geringere Leistung hat.Wer also nicht so ein Top-Gerät wie ich als Altgerät zuhause hat, mag evtl. mit diesem zufrieden sein. Ein Upgrade ist es auf jeden Fall nicht, höchstens in Punkto Aussehen.
